I received this moments ago. What is this? Not even all lantern parts, much less that it was in pieces. Returning for refund ASAP.

After 60 years the product is the same now as it was back then. Shine on you crazy lantern!

Like some other folks who get tired of bent metal or aluminum stakes I switched over to these. Affordable & easy to hammer/remove. I did notice 1-2 get the tip bent due to tree roots but I easily sharpened them back down - no problem. Happy customer!

I will describe my experience with the air mattress. The Coleman box says it is Queen size, but the dimensions are Full size. It only inflates with the pump that uses 4 large batteries which you need to buy, or it has an inlet for connecting an independent electric or manual pump. Unfortunately, it does not have a power cord to connect to an outlet. When I used the pump with the batteries, I spent over 30 minutes inflating and it did not fully inflate; the mattress felt soft. Nevertheless, I was able to use it when I had guests at my house. I received no complaints from the people who slept on the mattress. I think it's hard to explain because it depends on how much you inflate it; you can make it harder or softer according to your preferences. Some people like a softer mattress, while others prefer it fully inflated. I recommend using an external pump because the included one is not powerful enough. The pump works, but it is not strong enough. If your issue is not with the pump, the mattress material feels strong and looks good. The construction feels very solid. It is pleasant to the touch and has no odor. Easy to clean. The setup and packing were easy. It is ideal for camping or house guests.

- This bag weighs in at 5 lbs. with the stuff sack, so it’s heavier than many three season deg. F bags, especially heavy for backpacking bags. - Based on quality and fill, it's “heftier” than my other 3 season bags, and with a lot of fill. So I’d feel comfortable taking this out on a 30 deg. night. It’s a rather thick bag, so it might even be good enough as a “light winter” bag (~20 deg. F). - The quality of the bag is good. The zippers are metal with a plastic guide, and fine teeth...so not the best zippers (compared to MSS), but typical. And I’ve found no stitching flaws. - The size is good. I’m 6’1” 280lbs., with broad shoulders. I have no concerns on length, and the width is adequate. Sleeping bags are always a little tight in the chest/shoulders for me…some of which I just can’t use….but I feel comfortable enough in this bag. For me, I’ve learned to avoid bags less than 31.5” wide, and this bag claims 75x33”, so this bag really is a perfect fit for me. - This bag completely unfolds into a camp blanket/quilt. - The sack is a basic stuff sack; but way too small for the bag. I’ve reviewed and repacked at least 15 sleeping bags and I have never had a harder time getting a bag back in the sack than this one. The bag is bulky, which is good for warmth, but makes it hard to roll/stuff. And you have to keep the bag rolled damn tight to get it back in the bag!! And Coleman did this weird thing where you have to rip the tag on the sack to expand the sack wide enough to get the bag back in the sack (I suppose for evidence of use?). The bag also has these bed roll cords which due to the bag bulk, are difficult to use and therefore useless, and probably won’t last. So for this, you likely won’t be able to get the bag in the sack in the field (took me 4 attempts on my bed), so I’d recommend getting a larger sack with compression straps for this bag. Bottom Line: This is a hefty, thick, and well-sized (for me) bag which is certain to keep me warm on cool nights, and perhaps even on a few winter nights. The sack is too small and inadequate though.

Worked like a charm, easy to set up

I dislike this item because doesn’t match on the shown photo and a dent

works well but showed up with a dent. Hard to show in picture.

We set up tent brand new, right out of box it was delivered in, so didn't perform any extra weather proofing or add any sealant. The first night it rained ALL night long and not just light rain, but a downpour. We stayed perfectly dry and didn't notice any leaking or moisture for the most part. On one side where the rainfly doesn't cover, there was slight moisture wicking on a small area of the tent but it was minor. The 2nd night we got about 2 hours of strong winds and really hard rain. Again, no leaks or moisture in the tent. I did think it odd that the rainfly doesn't cover the 2 ends of the tent - they are completely exposed - but they held up well. I will add that the front rainfly covered area outside the door was not leak resistant AT ALL. The floor matt and all our shoes sitting out there got soaked. This tent was nice and roomy - fairly narrow, but really long. We slept 4 very comfortably with all our gear stored in there as well. We could have easily fit a 5th person but any more than 5 people would be a bit of a squeeze. The swinging door was a nice feature as well and zipped open and close pretty easily. The Velcro closing feature wasn't great and it took more time to line up the Velcro squares than to just zip the door closed. The directions were horrible and it took me 2 hours to get the tent up (1 adult w/ help of 2 11 year old kids). I've camped my whole life and put up plenty of tents, so I'm not a novice. Now that I've put it up though, I think it will be easier the next time. The storage bag is nice and sturdy and big enough to store the tent back into. We got the version of this tent with the ceiling light which was really nice and pretty easy to set up. I actually gave the chore to my two 11 year old boys and they had it hooked up and working pretty quick. The tent stakes are HORRIBLE which was disappointing for a tent at this price. Thankfully I had picked up some extra stakes before we left so I interspersed those with the easily bending stakes that came w/ tent. Next time I will purchase a whole new set of stakes and throw the ones that came with tent away. Overall I am happy with the tent. The poor directions and flimsy stakes are outweighed by the awesome weather resistant performance.

Awesome tent, easy to set up one thing is it was missing the side hardware but returned old one and got a new one.

Second camping trip out came home and knocked it over. Hard to figure out what to buy when Coleman gives you a part number that doesn't work. This fits propane 5150, 5151, 5154, 5155, 5159, 5417, 5419, 5428, and 5429. Also fits a few dual fuel and liquid fuel, check my photo.

This is a great 1 person tent. For backpacking or biking. I bike to campgrounds and stay over. This tent is smaller and lighter than the one I had been taking. This will be perfect. Enough room without being heavy and huge. Setup: I set this up in my living room. It comes with a footprint which is great. Another nice touch is that there is one corner that is red on the tent, footprint, and rainfly. They all match up so you get the orientation correct. The instructions are attached to the tent storage bag which is nice. The only issue I had was the ridge pole. It's not obvious where it goes and how it goes. Turns out it goes OVER the main tent poles and into two grommets. I had to look at pictures on the Coleman site to figure this out. The rainfly needs to be staked out to work so my pics are a bit weird since I didn't stake it. Tent: I'm 6 foot 2 inches and there was plenty of room for me and some gear. The Star Window / Vent is nice. It's on the end where your feet go, but you can still see out. The tent is really well made and the quality shows. On second thought, It seems like you can sleep with your feet on either end. Just pick an end. Take down: It folded up really nicely. I was able to fold it to the width of the pole bag and then roll it up. It fit back in the back no issue. You then roll down the top of the bag and click the buckles together to keep it closed. With a little practice setup and takedown will be very fast. Overall this is a high quality tent that is durable and light. It is fun and will upgrade my adventures! Notes: - Ridge Pole Goes OVER the main tent poles - Red Corners of Footprint, Tent, and Rainfly all line up. (Great Idea!) - Instructions are attached to the bag but are not perfect. - Under 5lbs - Star View Window / Vent - Free standing but needs to be staked out

We bought 10 for our Boy Scout troop. They look really sharp and fit 2 scouts with gear comfortably.

Photo of packaging implies 4 mantles total. Photo of individual mantles implies 4 mantles total. Google Translate is telling me the foreign language says "2 pieces x 2 sets" which implies 4 mantles total. Literally stole my money. I'm returning it today.

I ordered this about a month ago and have used it 4-5 times. The globe showed up with a minor chip but has been usable. Every time i get it pressurized it begins to leak from between the tank and heat shield. It also has a bad tendency to completely fill the globe with flames coming out of the top, even traveling under the heat shield. It is neat when it does work correctly, but i question the safety of this product. I’ll be looking into a re-seal kit to try to get this to work propery. In the meantime i’ll stick with the propane.
