This portable Coleman backpack sun shelter is easy to assemble and very spacious. I haven't used this on a beach yet, but I am very much looking forward to using it on the beach. This thing is pretty big, but not obnoxiously large. It can easily fit two full-size reclining beach chairs in it, with plenty of room for a cooler or other supplies. The walls can provide as much or little shade as you want. Portability is a big plus, as the bag turns into a "backpack", with two shoulder straps, however it's definitely not the most comfortable thing (but the convenience is nice). I really, really, disliked having to put this thing back in the bag though. It probably takes me twice as long to put it away as it does to assemble it.

I guess it does the job, but for a 50 degree sleeping bag, but I expected it to roll up into a much smaller package. I have seen 20 degree bags pack smaller. Granted it is a cheap sleeping warm weather bag and isn't really expected to use for hiking, but still ... The bag came in a VERY small package. The storage bag it came in has a zipper that once opened allows it to expand for easy removal. Once this zipper is undone, you won't be using it again. There is NO WAY to roll it up in such a way to do that (see picture). With one person you can get it rolled up such that the cord hook will keep it kind of in place, but you need two people to get it back in the storage bag. Once in the storage bag, forget about using the zipper to compress further, and the end will never close like it should. Other than that, OK.

This is NOT as advertised. It's much smaller. Collapsed it's the size of a man's hand. Assembled it's only 16" long. It's a folding trowel with a pick, not a folding shovel. Don't confuse it with an entrenching tool. See photos attached. That said, it's not bad for a little folding trowel. It opens and locks well at 90 degrees or fully extended. The blade is dull, but a minute with a bench grinder will solve that. It folds compact and has a nice little snap pouch. Looks like it would be a decent addition to a camping box for digging a one-time use latrine hole - better than a regular garden trowel. Definitely not suitable for digging out a car or larger purposes though.

I bought 2 of these chairs to take to my sons ballgames. I have had these chairs for 2 months. The chairs themselves are sturdy and pretty comfortable. Much more comfortable than sitting on bleachers. The bag on one of the chairs started to rip right away. I won’t be able to use the bag much longer without it being completely unusable. I do like the chairs but, I will now have to spend $ on a nylon patch kit so I can use the bag. 😐

I love this lamp, long lasting if used on low setting

We have used ours six summers now. Still doesn’t need replacing. Use a small handheld air blower to fill. Add a bit mire air shortly before bedtime. We sleep great and are comfortable (two adults and 25 pound dog). Rolls up easily for storage.

Comfy chair! I told the seller I needed it by Friday and the time for shipping on colemandiscount.com said it would be late, but the seller said they’d get it to my by Friday and that they did! Wonderful customer service! The chair itself is comfy, sturdy, supportive, and the carry bag is awesome!

Great source of light but more so a great thing to play around with while outdoors. As bright as I had hoped and works with normal pump gas, very convenient. Of course a normal LED nowadays is more practical in some ways, but I think this still has its place in one’s home. Either for emergencies or just for fun. Also, the pressure lantern buzz is soothing.

*Possibly damaged by poor colemandiscount.com packaging* All four of these mantles split open and developed holes immediately during the pre-burn. When trying to pre-burn the first two mantles, one developed so many holes that the bottom half of the mantle fell off. The other three all developed holes or split wide open down the side. colemandiscount.com shipped these mantles loose in the same box as a steel trailer hitch and a 20ft tarp. I don’t know if shipping damage is the cause of our issue or if like others have experienced these holes are a quality problem.

Awesome candle!!!! Keeps the bugs away and is super pretty! Love it!

Is way too big for coleman 295. However I was able to screw the lamp attachment to it to be able to hold it.

We got this tent in March of 2015 and we've used it multiple times. It's very spacious and has some great novelty items. The light is really handy and the kids love it. The windows roll up and down when zipped and unzipped. The hinged door is nothing to brag about, conscientious that it opens and closes easily but has to be tied open and doesn't line up with the door hole unless zipped. After a year and a half we have some holes where the poles have poked through the material. It has leaked water along the seams after a downpour in New Mexico. Not fun to be woken up by freezing drops falling on your face. We have put 2 queen mattresses in and a pack and play and still had a little room to stand and store our bags. It can be set up easily by one person, two people just make it set up quicker. It's not a bad tent for the price.

Very poor quality. Very disappointed. Bad stitching along seem. Wore 3-4 times to work, ripping in 2 spots, fit well but ripping out of nowhere.

My wife got this for me as a gift as I'm starting to become a Coleman lantern freak (the old ones). I burn my gas lanterns just for fun all the time. OK, the Northern Nova -- it has a pretty cool design and is very bright. The legs turn downward giving it a nice base with rubber tipped feet. The propane tank is actually elevated slightly. It looks, I don't know...backpack industrial? The chrome looks a little cheesy to me...a little Cadillac Cimarron. I actually like 'frame' (metal outside the globe)..well how it looks anyway. The vent or 'hat' too as some people call them is a nice design. It is bigger than what it looks in most pictures (dimensions are online I'm sure), but it is larger, wider, taller, etc. than any of my existing gas lanterns. The bag is nice, but a little on the thin side. Now time for me to be picky, picky, picky. "Brightest Coleman Lantern" -- Yes I'm sure if they are advertising it as this than its true, but...it is not that much brighter than the other North Stars and not noticeable brighter than some of my 50 year old gas lanterns. I will say on low those accordion mantles give off a cool halo pulse type effect. Almost like an old school kerosene lantern. You can kind a see the gas flicker in the mantle. This is actually a bad thing on full blast, as the propane tank can't seem to keep up with the massive flow rate of this lantern. On high (and I have tried different tanks) you get a slight flutter that is not pleasing on the eyes at that light level. This goes away one or two notches down, but returns again on the lowest setting. I like these mantles; although, as other reviewers have said, they are a bit fragile and are expensive. I have done several burns on mine and they are fine, just be gentile. The auto ignite works great! Another note on the performance side -- this is the noisiest lantern I have ever heard. Propane in general I find noisier than white gas, but this thing sounds like it has a model jet running in it, especially on high. NOT something you would place on a camp table for dinner chat, at least on the higher settings. I have one of the cheap $25 Coleman Propane lanterns and it is down right whisper quiet compared to the Northern Nova. It should also be noted, this thing puts out some HEAT...again, look at the rate the propane is being burned. Watch where this is being used, it heats up. I find the materials finish to be typical say post-1980's Coleman. The vent is thin (not like the old school enameled metal ones), the frame is thin. I will say I like the bigger top ball nut better, it is way easier than the old ones as it is so large. The frame can be a big time pain to get back on as each individual leg is loose...you have to line up all three with the vent to get it back together. Kind of a pain, but with the electronic ignitor you don't need to take the globe off too often. I'm not crazy about the chain vs. an old school metal loop to hang the lantern, but it is unique. It does make a high pitched 'squeek' as it runs out of propane. Reminds me of my daughter trying to tune her clarinet first year. Well who would purchase this? An avid Coleman collector for sure. It is a car camping or luxury camping item. Its best use is hanging from one of those lantern hooks in campground where it can flood a large area with light in areas without power and without the need for batteries. There it can make noise and heat up in complete safety. It will burn about a tank of propane before midnight and you can pop a new tank on the next night and do it again. Deer camp, duck camp, on a riverside fishing for catfish, etc. Now I'm probably going to continue to pick my old white gas lanterns for those duties, but there are customers who prefer the green 1 pound propane tanks! Also, if you have to have the brightest...this is going to be the one!

Super strong wide tape was used to wrap the cans together and the cans are also individually wrapped in tape. After 20 minutes was only able to separate out 2 cans. Removing the tape leaves glue residue and rips their labels off, and now the cans are sticky and the warning information is gone. The vendor didn’t reply but colemandiscount.com processed a refund.
