This makes a huge difference. Above 80 degrees my ducted AC couldn't keep up. Mostly because the ducts are in the hot ceiling. But also they don't flow enough air to take all the fan puts out. With this there is more airflow when the outlets on the grille are open. I got it today and went out to install it. It was 99 degrees in the trailer and a little over 100 degrees outside. I put it on and within an hour it was in the low 80s inside. Some air still goes through the ducts and helps cool the bedroom a little. As a bonus it makes the unit quieter. The air ducted through the cover takes a little of the fan noise away. It's definitely an improvement.

  • This lunchbag is a HUGE HIT with my son! He was complaining that his old lunchbag was too small to take enough food or fit a water bottle to school, so he had been buying a lot last year. Now he's in 7th Grade and genuinely NEEDS to take more food. He's 12 years old and already topping out at 5'3 and 110 lbs and he's hungry ALL of the time. As all parents know, this age kids are picky about the "style" of what you buy. Can't be too "kiddie", can't be too flashy, still has to be cool...but can't look like Grandpa's lunchbag, either. *Sigh* I rolled the dice in shopping online and deciding on this bag without checking with my son. I spent a full day checking out lunchbags in all different sizes, colors, brands, and styles. I am so glad I picked this on! First off, it's VERY large inside for a school lunch. But not TOO big for lockers. My son loves that it has a comfortable shoulder strap for carrying and that the hard, removable inner shell keeps his lunch from getting squished (keeps it colder, too because you can easily fit a few large and small cold packs in this bag). He loves the brown and orange colors, the extra pockets, and especially the netting on the top where he can take an extra water bottle while also still fitting a full lunch inside. He takes 2 water bottles (one inside, one outside), a Capri Sun, a sandwich, yogurt, applesauce, pretzels/goldfish, a spoon and napkin and he still has plenty of space for more items on both the inside as well as the front pocket being free. My kid is never openly "excited" about anything much these days since they are busy being cool....but he was more excited about this bag than everything else we purchased for school and he WANTS to pack now instead of buying because he likes showing it off and says packing his lunch the night before is easier. This is because I make him pack his lunch the night before and he always hated doing it. Now he just takes the hard shell out of the bag, gets his lunch ready, and just stashes the plastic thing in the fridge and then then drops it into his bag in the morning, ready to go. I feel like the best Mom ever because my son said it was "exactly what he wanted" despite him not telling me at all "what he wanted". And for an adult, this would be fantastic. The quality is excellent, the inner shell really provides a ton of space for taking work lunch plus snacks and several drinks. The extra pockets are perfect for things like vitamins or even your wallet if you avoid taking "extra" things to work in separate bags. You could easily take your keys, wallet, and other small items and your whole lunch/beverages for the day and leave the rest in your car. I'm not just impressed as a school-shopping parent, but as an adult who really appreciates things that last through tough school years and are durable enough for jobs like Machining (my former trade), Construction, Nurses, Teachers, etc. I think this is the best lunchbag I've ever purchased and I've purchase MANY for myself as well as my son. I hope they make one in purple eventually because I plan to purchase one of these for myself and significant other, as well. If you're hesitating on the size....don't. It fits in lockers and the strap is perfect. And if you choose not to use the hard liner, it's much more compact and small. There are no Cons to this Coleman 9 Can Cooler. I wish I'd have found this years ago to know that my kid was eating and drinking enough at lunch without having to buy extras. Oh! And no more stinky lunchbags! If my son forgets to wipe out a mess....no biggie. The liner is so easy to clean that spills or use over time doesn't degrade the quality of the bag itself nor leak into bookbags or onto clothing. Coleman really made a perfect 5-Star product with this one. I'd pay double this price for this bag!

Not the size it should be. Lucky I'm only 5'9". People taller than 6 feet would be screwed. It's only 75 x 36.

  • Aug 20, 2023 Daytona Beach! My new tent was easy to assemble and even on a windy day it performed flawlessly. Sitting under this littlr tent provided approximately a 10°-12°F difference in temperature. Good job Coleman!

What I like... It fits the large-ish Coleman Pack Away cots! I couldn't find an answer to that question in reviews or videos anywhere. It isn't a dark tent, but the darker color lets it be a bit dimmer inside. It has a full rainfly, though the tent is mostly mesh under that fly. It wasn't hard to put up alone as a 5'6" human. What I don't love... It does not vent well. Other reviews warned of that. I'm going to try adding tabs and elastic straps to the sides to stake them out to try improving airflow, otherwise it could be hot. I also wish it came with poles for staking up the door/ making an awning to sit under. I will take it out on a 4 day trip soon, but I don't expect issues with leaking. It feels sturdy enough for normal weather, but I will replace the stakes with more sturdy ones as a precaution. If anything changes, I will update this review.

Update: (4/13/2025) After returning the first tent and ordering another, I can only conclude that Coleman has ZERO quality control or standards anymore. The second tent arrived with fewer holes in the rain fly, but with various other issues including seams that are already coming apart. See pics. First and last pics are of the first tent, pic 2-4 are of second tent. (4/5/2025) Believe the negative reviews. On first assembly, one clip broke while applying very little force to it. Once I got the rainfly on, it looked like the night sky with how many holes are in it. Waste of my time. Waste of a tent. If you purchase this tent, set it up before you go camping and check the rainfly and seams. I got a $25 refund from colemandiscount.com that I'm going to use for some tent repair products.

  • I've been using a much larger 10'x10' pop up canopy for years for my RC helicopter hobby needs. I now prefer this much smaller and an compact sun shelter for several reasons. 1. This smaller and more compact sun shelter is much lighter weight and takes up less room in my small Honda CRV than the heavier and bulkier 10'x10' pop up canopy. 2. This sun shelter works better for me protecting me and my equipment from the sun. Since this sun shelter has side walls, it protects me and my equipment from the sun regardless of how the sun shifts position in the sky throughout the day. With the 10'x10' pop up canopy, I have to shift my seat and the tables looking for new shaded areas, as the sun shifts throughout the day.

  • We are RV campers but like to eat outside in our dining shelter as much as possible. However, it's difficult for just me and my wife to move a heavy park-supplied picnic table into the dining shelter and even if we could, there would not be room for much else. So, the little table is the perfect solution for just the two of us. We can easily fit the table, two chairs for dining and two gravity lawn chairs in the shelter with room to spare. I also like the fact that it a Coleman product which in itself signals camping quality. I also like that it sets-up and breaks down very quickly into a small package for stowing and that the carry-bag is larger than required for an easy fit. I did take off one star for the following reasons: Even though my wife's knees fit under the table while dining mine don't making it a touch awkward. Also, even though the roll-up table top I'd aluminum, it would appear that the legs are steel. I hope over time rust does not become a problem. Other than that, we are extremely satisfied.

Garbage. Not the same millimeter thickness as the old ones and flexes terribly (look at the pictures) If I didn’t have a camping trip coming up I would have returned it. Don’t waste your time/money. I’m going to have to reinforce this with all-thread or something.

  • I have used this lantern twice and although it provides bright and very natural light, it has a design flaw that makes it hard to highly rate. On the top of the lantern there is a round, silver, nut that threads onto a screw that is pushed through the top dome of the lantern. The screw is stamped into place rather than being welded so it will eventually come loose and fall inside the pictured portion of the lantern. I had read on a Coleman review that another owner had been able to fish out that screw with a magnet and dental floss....I had no such luck. I called Coleman Customer Support and they were AMAZING. The provided warranty coverage on the lantern and will be sending me a new unit. For those that purchase this lantern, I would recommend keeping it as protected as possible as it is very fragile. That being said, I really like the look of the lantern and feel it puts off incredibly bright, natural light, that I find better light to cook under. For the next lantern I receive, I'm going to screw on a thin jam nut to prevent the screw from falling through again.

On the first beach trip one the support column/podding failed. While having the support column/podding inside the cooler is of no significance to me, still this doesn’t mean Coleman should have cheap out on that feature. Nonetheless this cooler works fine for my family beach days to keep our fruits and drink cool. If you are planning on not using the column/podding then you will need to pack this baby tight so what’s inside servers as support for cooler walls. Overall I bought this cooler despite all the warning about the column/podding failing because I already know I wasn’t going to use the column/podding anyways and after hours of searching and comparing prices this was the better of all cheaps base off size and price. The reason why I gave this a 3 stars is because of the fact that Coleman is such a big brand and they need to figure out something for the cheap column/podding they put in this nice cooler. I hope this helps if you are just looking for a quick cheap buy for a cooler that is totally usable without the column/podding.

  • This Coleman lantern carrying case is identical to the other two I have, except molded in black. My other two red cases are about 45 years old and are still holding up like new. This case is amazingly made with the same quality as my older cases. I purchased this one because of the black color in order to make it easier to know which lantern I’m reaching for. I now keep my Powerhouse® Dual Fuel model 295-700T lantern in the black case since it has a black ventilator, and my older green lanterns in the red cases. I’ve read comments in regards to people saying the lantern will fall out of the case due to the bottom dropping out. In the 45 years that I’ve owned my red cases, I’ve never had the bottom drop out. The slots at the bottom of the cases cover snap into place locking the bottom securely. You MUST push the bottom of the cover’s slots firmly under the nub protrusions on both sides of the base. It’s also necessary to place the cover over the lantern straight down so that the lanterns ventilators ball nut enters the recessed area found under the carry handle. Then press the slotted tabs over the nubs at the same time. I also keep extra tie-on mantles in the recessed area under the lantern. Unfortunately, my vintage 12/61 Coleman lantern 220E is about an inch too tall to fit in these lantern cases.
