  • Such an amazing tent for the price! Let me tell you- this tent can withstand the weather!!!!!! We camped over the weekend and had torrential rain, severe thunderstorms, and devastating tornadoes in KY- so this tent was truly put to the weather test. We stayed dry as a bone! I’ve had this tent for about two years and absolutely love it! I’ve had a similar Coleman previous model tent & loved it too- I would repurchase this tent for the 3rd time if I had to! Easy to put up and breakdown. Can’t recommend enough. In fact- My friends and I call my tent “The Lodge” because it’s such a large tent & definitely spacious enough to fit lots of friends in!

  • Super easy to assemble and pack. Seems like its decent quality. However the only thing that prevents this from becoming a 5 star review is the sturdiness of the table. Havent used it yet but it does shift side to side a bit. Will update review after using it on my camping trip.

  • I used this pump (400E5211) in place of the 400E5201 pump recommended for my 226 lantern. It works perfectly and as far as I can tell has no difference in overall length. It does have a slightly smaller diameter pump handle as well as a longer section of knurling compared to the original though so I moved the pump cup and other parts over to the old one. New pump is on the right side of the image.

  • Used only 3-4 times carrying to and from a playing field. The chair is fine, nothing special. The carrying bag is cheaply made. Need another chair, but doubt I will order this again. I would love a decent quality chair with a decent quality carry case.

  • Very irritating as others have noticed that the measurements are not accurate. My husband is 6'4 and I am 5'10 and I searched and searched for extra long sleeping bags. I am paying extra money for the additional length but didn't get it. We haven't used it yet so I don't know if I want to send it back or not because it is just heavy and bulky to return. Then I'm back to where I started. Come on! Coleman! Don't put the measurements on the box and advertise it if it's not correct!

  • with room on both ends for a little bit of ice.. it's not complicated, folks.

  • I have a Coleman 10x10 Oasis canopy and it is very nice, but this really helps with not only sun, but wind (mainly breezes). When up, it provides a nice amount of sun reduction, similar to being below a thick tree canopy. I'm not sure if there is the same UV blocking as the actual canopy, however as there is nothing that says it provide sun protection. It is solid and creates a barrier from wind, particularly nuisance breezes, but also be aware that since it is solid, it will provide a lot of resistance, so be sure the canopy is well anchored / tied down. It first the 10x10 Oasis canopy perfectly, with 4 clips to attach to the top, hook and loop straps along the legs, and then two clips at the bottom to keep it stretched. It comes in a nice little zippered bag to store it, too.

  • Received with obvious defect in product. Opens, closes, and locks fine - but I would expect better for an $80 cooler. Choosing not to return because I would prefer to keep it and give it a useful life than see it end up in a landfill. I am sure it holds ice fine, beyond the obvious defect it seems like a robust / well made cooler. Nice size for a big work day lunch and snacks. Do not believe this product to be a good value - if it was made stateside it may warrant an $80 price tag. Size is nice to fit into a cramped work truck.

  • Replaced original 1 piece that finally got rusty. For this $65 pair LOL. Fits good, heavy, seems ok. Will cook on it soon. BLOWS my mind how expensive these were!!! $30/ea is way too much!!!!! But to replace the entire unit? $249 ???? Really Coleman? For $250 you can buy a patio BBQ I’m happy withe fit and qualify, disappointed in price.

  • I'm pretty new to camping, and the first time I went I just used a tailgating grill I already had. It worked ok, but when this item went on sale at the start of the season I jumped at it, largely based on the positive reviews and its 2-in-one grill/burner capability. I made the mistake of not taking it out of the box until the first time we went camping several weeks later. At that time, I found defects in the grill pan surface, shown in the first photo which I took right at the camp site. I didn't bring a backup so I had to cook on it: the little divots in the metal surface naturally collected gunk, and they were sharp enough that the paper towel got shredded when I was cleaning it. colemandiscount.com to the rescue: even though I had already used the grill, they graciously accepted the return of the unit and sent me a replacement for the same sale price. This time I made sure to open it as soon as I got it...and it had the same defects. In fact, the replacement unit might even be worse, as shown in the next two pictures which are of the new unit as I was unboxing it. As noted, the defects affect the cleanup, but they don't affect the cooking. Unfortunately this unit doesn't cook very well. - The burner side cannot fit a 10" pot or pan as advertised when the burner-side wind protector/support is connected. Not even close. If you have a small teapot or percolator you can assemble it as shown on the front of the box but if you use an actual 10" pot on the burner, you can't set up the side flap. - The grill heats very unevenly. The heat down the middle of the grill grate is very hot even on low, and unusably hot when turned up past that. You'll be tempted to turn it up it, because as soon as you venture a little way from the center there seems to be no heat at all. I'm experienced on both gas and charcoal grills, and cooking on this thing was an exercise in futility because of this wild unevenness. Don't try to cook a thick chicken breast: to get the center to temp you'll turn the outside to char. Even if you butterfly it or use other cuts of meat, plan to move the food around constantly to make up for its inconsistency. Overall I was extremely disappointed in both the workmanship and the performance of this product. The grill is so poor that I wish I had just bought a simple two-burner stove. The defects in not one but two units are such that when I do replace it, it won't be with another Coleman product.

  • After a few practice setups and more importantly, take downs, I tested this tent (2P) camping this past weekend. IT does indeed go up very quickly and one could argue that is goes down just about as fast. However, because I was camping with others that made me show them how easy it was a few times it may have lost its speed advantage over other tents. People find it amazing and want to see it. The test also included it in both some mild wind and some rain. It handled both very well and did not leak a drop! The issues others have pointed out about the door being inset when open and water getting in that way are indeed true, but minor. Many tents get wet around the door in the rain as folks enter and exit. You just wipe it up. I might rig a tiny fly extension for it to prevent this when using it in the future. All of my other tents that get used frequently are Sierra Designs, two of which are four season tents. Is this one as good as those? No, no it is not. In “real weather,” or backpacking I’d use the Sierra Designs tents. But they take far more effort and time to setup and take down. In good weather the Pop Up has them beat! I also use a Sierra Designs Baffin Bivy and though not a tent, it is used for speed, i.e set up and take down camp fast. It is still faster than the Coleman Popup, but not by a lot and the Pop Up is certainly more comfortable and less of an issue in rain. Others have pointed out issues taking the tent down and folding it up, even broken polls while doing this. I did not have any issue. I watched the YouTube videos and made a point of being gentle. I practiced a lot. I can fold it up in well under a minute. I have folded it up maybe 40 times without any poll issues or failures. To those having issues, practice, never force it and watch the you tube videos of the folks who know how to do it. It is really, really, easy. Others have pointed out the door zipper can be difficult to zip. This is also true and more so when the tent is staked out. It is not a one handed operation, but to be just, on all three of my Sierra Designs tents, it is a two handed operation also, and mostly where the door corves when they are put up tight. The Coleman was the same, though it is slightly harder to zip up. I’d ding it for that, but I got used to it pretty fast. It is another thing where being gentle with it will have rewards. Some have pointed out the cloth floor as an issue. Though, many tents have fabric flows this one seems thin and may be a vulnerable spot. I used a small tarp under It (I use fitted ground cloths with my other tents). I sized the tarp so most of the water running off the tent hit dirt and not the tarp (so the water does not go under the tent). I did not have any problems. Finally, it comes down to how many stars. I could easily say my Sierra Designs, tents are 5 stars and therefore this must be something far less. However, the Sierra Designs tents cost three to five times as much! The ease of setup earns this tent a great score. For the price this Coleman Popup is 100% worth it. Five stars.

I know this Coleman Sleeping Bag is geared towards tall individuals. However, we found that it also works decently well for my 6' husband and small child to fit. Either side by side or feet to feet using the bottom portion that is designed to unzip to cool your feet (see picture). It also could work for two children under 10 yrs to fit feet to feet. For recreational camping, it's pretty nice. It's still a mummy bag, but it's spacious. There's a little pocket on the inside for you to keep a cell phones utility tools, or a small flashlight. Anything you would to keep nearby and know where it is. There were a handful of loose strings. A concern only if the bag starts unthreading and let's the down out. The biggest con for us is the zipper, it catches on the sleeping bag even though there is black canvas lining designed to keep it from doing that. It actually stuffs back in the storage bag really easily and quickly. The reinforced straps in the storage bag are a nice feature.

I own one of the older models with a stainless carafe, and I've had it for at least 10 years. It went camping a lot, on 4wd trips, and then finally found a permanent home at our off grid cabin. It's nice because I can enjoy the peace and quiet with coffee and no generator! The only complaint I have, as did one other reviewer is the carafe is larger than the reservoir, WHAT THE HECK! Who designed that, and apparently they didn't fix it either!? But still not a deal breaker or even close. I use one of the coffee mugs to put the rest of the fresh water in, then add it to the res when the water level goes down a bit. After about 5 years of intermittent use the igniter stopped working, but they strategically placed a hole for an flame igniter or long match to do the job. Not a big deal. After 10+ years our old one finally died (R.I.P.). So I am buying this to replace it, it looks exactly the same (except my old one is black, and I'm hopeful the old stainless carafe works in it too. The pictures may look a bit rough, but its like saying goodbye to an old friend, it's bounced around in the back of my Jeep, been thrown in the bed of my pickup and abused by hunters. If you are in need of a wonderful coffee pot to use off grid, DON'T HESITATE! Buy it!

  • My old Coleman Powerhouse Unleaded 428 was a gift from my father in law several years ago. It worked well for a year or 2 but eventually I couldn't get any air pressure into the fuel tank. I put it aside and kept it in the garage somewhere collecting dust and grime. A few days ago I rediscovered it when I was cleaning out the garage and decided to get my YouTube Certification on fixing the thing. Found this part, easy swap using just a pair of pliers (also used some 3-in-1 oil to lube up the rubber piece). It was a much tighter fit than the old one, and after the requisite 35 pumps, the tank was fully pressurized, and she started right up! Gas was probably several years old too.... (note that the new one comes with some black plastic thingy that I didn't need, and see in one picture how the old rubber thingy is kinda flat. The new one is flared outward for a nice seal)
