  • I bought 2 of these chairs to take to my sons ballgames. I have had these chairs for 2 months. The chairs themselves are sturdy and pretty comfortable. Much more comfortable than sitting on bleachers. The bag on one of the chairs started to rip right away. I won’t be able to use the bag much longer without it being completely unusable. I do like the chairs but, I will now have to spend $ on a nylon patch kit so I can use the bag. 😐

  • I spent hours trying to find the best lunch bag/box with a removable hard liner other day. I kept coming back to this one, despite having concerns about space in it bc the only pic i could find was of plastic coke bottles in it. So! Im back to help anyone else who needs a better idea of how containers of food for meals would look. It seems of good quality. Love that the liner is hard and can be removed for spills. I only wish the variety of colors was wider, even black or grey would've been great as i like to keep it neutrel for things like this. 1.17.18. Ordered another one which arrived today, but is 1/2 the size.. it states 30 cans on its label, but label from 1st cooler is long gone so i have no way of knowing whether i scored on 1st bag with a bihger one than it shudve been or if this new and smaller one was mistagged... 😠 1.20.18: 3rd one, replacement for 2nd one has arrived, and I'm relieved to say it is the same size as the 1st one. Its tag was removed from the plastic "line" tho, and merely tucked in a side pocket, so I'm not clear on whether 2nd one was mistagged to be a 30 or my 1st one was mistagged to be a 30. But, at least now my uusband n I both have new "lunch boxes"! ☺

My tent just arrived yesterday. I struggled on what to give this tent for a rating because I just got it. I was thinking about giving it a 3 for average which seemed fair to start with. But after seeing how it handled the wind without breaking or tearing, I decided to give it a 4 because it surpassed my expectations. I plan on using this tent quite a bit this summer so I will update my rating and review as I go. I found the assembly instructions to be very basic but adequate. Anyone who has put up a tent like this before will have no problem. It took me about 15 minutes. Anyway, I set my tent up in my back yard yesterday to see how it looked and how it took on the elements. My first test was wind. I have a weather station and the average wind speed was 7 to 8 mph with gusts up to 17 mph. The back of the tent was torward the wind and when the gusts would come, the back of the tent would bow it quite a bit. I have read the reviews some people have written and see some have had problems with the poles breaking. This is what I was afraid of as I watched the back of the tent bow in. I wish I had taken a picture because it was substantial. Anyway, the poles did not break and the tent returned to it’s original form when the gust passed every time. I have seen the video on colemandiscount.com of the testing process Coleman puts their tents through. Not sure how much wind this tent is rated for but I’m pretty sure 17 mph is close to it’s max. The tent looks to be made very well for the price I paid for it. There are only two guidelines that come off the rain fly on the sides of the tent. The tent is staked down on all four corners of the floor plus a floor vent in the back of the tent. In all, there are only 7 stake down points that I could see. I feel if the tent had some guidelines higher up on each of the four corners of the main body of the tent it could withstand more wind. The stakes are ok but bend fairly easily if the ground is too hard or you hit a rock when pounding them in. I will be buying some better ones before I go camping. I left the tent up over night and checked on it this morning. It held up very well and only one of the stakes for the rain fly guidelines had twisted in the ground causing the guideline to come loose. I left the tent up because it was going to rain today. I need to know if I have any leaks before I take it out camping. It has been raining lightly for two hours now and my weather station says I’m getting .05 inches of rain an hour with a light steady wind of 2 to 3 mph. Far from what I would consider a hard rain but it’s still rain. I went out and looked at just the outside and the water seems to be beading up and running off the rain fly and tent very well. It is supposed to rain until 9 or 10 o’clock tonight so I will check for water on the inside in the morning. I’m hoping not to see any with such a light rain. If there is, I will definitely be spraying the tent down with a waterproofing spray before I take it out camping. Now for the pro’s and con’s. Pro’s: 1). Great tent for the price. If your on a fixed budget or are looking for a good starter tent you will not beat this one. 2). Very roomy inside. I plan on using this for two people, a shepherd and, all our gear. 3) There is an eyelet at the top of the tent so you can attach a lantern and two side pockets for stowing smaller needed items like a headlamp, cell phone, keys and, so on. 4). There is a small zipper in the bottom front left side of the tent for running wires. See my picture. It is covered by a little yellow strip of material to protect the zipper from the rain. You do not see this feature on most tents. I plan on using it with my solar panel so I can charge my power core, headlamp, cell phone and, other gear from inside the tent out of direct sunlight. 5). I was surprised at how much give the tent had at 17 mph gusts and did not break any poles or tear. It bounced right back to it’s original form. Con’s: 1). You may want to consider buying stronger tent stakes. 2). I wish there was a high point on each of the four corners for attaching extra guidelines. Although it handled 17 mph gusts very well the tent did bow in quite a bit. If I had to guess, the tent was reduce by almost half it’s size. If I was inside the tent I know I would have been annoyed being hit by it every time a gust came. I really don’t feel the tent as is, could handle much more then that. I’m thinking about how to attach extra guidelines in the corners without effecting the structural stability and elasticity of the tent. Make sure you pitch this tent in a sheltered area out of the wind if your expecting bad weather. Update 04/30/18 I went out the next morning after the light rain and the inside was dry. The following day saw more rain showers with substantially more rain. Checked the tent again today and it is still dry. After reading some of the reviews I really thought this tent would leak. Because this tent has preformed better then expected I have changed my rating to a five. I am going to seal the seams and spray waterproofing on the tent anyway because I would rather be safe then sorry. For the size and price of this tent you will not find a better deal. Just remember to pitch your tent in a sheltered area in you are expecting winds and you will not be disappointed. I think I have figured out a way to put up extra guidelines on each of the four corners so the tent will preform better with heavy gusts of wind. I will test it out and take pictures. More to come. That is all for now and there will be more updates coming.

I used these to replace the worn and broken plastic hinges off of my Old Coleman Polylite Model 5284

  • These work great. There are 25 sheets, but each is perforated so you can tear it and get 50 sheets total. It dissolved quickly after rinsing in water and rubbing, and it lathered up surprisingly well. There was enough soap I felt like I could have even shared it with someone else. The container is easy to open but the latch keeps it from opening accidentally. It is very lightweight and small so it takes up pretty much no space in a backpack. I'll be ordering these again.

  • Overall I really like this stove. It's powerful and easy to set up but if you're cooking in any wind conditions over 10mph-ish you'll have to mind the wind direction so you don't melt the buttons or anything around the stove. The burners sunt allow for slow/simmering cooking, even on the lowest setting they'll burn anything that doesn't need searing or boiling. They're also prone to being blown off by slight wind at low speed. If this stove had wind deflectors and a burner capable of slow cooking it would be perfect. The graphics on it tent too wash out if you're using Clorox wipes to clean it.

  • this doesnt hold ice for more then 18 hrs i tested it right when it arrived very sad not like the old coleman quality at all. Pic is 6 hrs today

  • It sets up and takes down quickly so that is good... But I have only five easy nights on it (camping on a drop cloth, not beating on it at a fair or something) and it is already tearing (see pictures). Basically, this is a disposable tent and should not be looked at as something that will last. I am so easy on tents, I still have a tent from the early 90s with probably close to 100 nights on it so this tent is just poorly made. Updates: It gets worse. I was inside of the return period when I wrote the above review but decided to contact support to see if they would make things right. It took them 30 days to respond so it took me outside of the return window and they also refused this as a warranty claim because it was "wear and tear". 5 easy nights in this tent is wear and tear? No, Coleman, 5 nights and tearing fabric means you use subpar materials and nobody should ever buy it since you don't stand behind it. My car camping tent is a Eureka from the 90's that has no tears with around 100 nights in it. My backpacking tests are Big Agnes with dozens of hard nights in them an no tears. This is NOT wear and tear. This is a bad product and terrible support. I will never buy one of your tents again and I would never recommend them to anyone who wants a product that will last longer than a couple days.

It’s a good grill, heats up quick and cooks fairly well. This is a smaller Coleman grill, rather than 2 equal haves of the grill, the 225 has one grate that takes up 2/3 of the grill surface and another smaller one that makes up the other 1/3 of the grill surface. The 2/3 half is the same size as the 1/2 grate for the larger Coleman 285 so you can buy a replacement grate or griddle (which I did, see pic) for the big side. The smaller 1/3 grate is moveable but not replaceable because they don’t sell it individually. Also they advertise it as a go anywhere grill but it does not have a lid latch so you have to carry it around by both side handles. They also don’t offer a carry case for it. (The one for the small table top Weber grill does fit it nicely though). So it’s not as portable or convenient as the larger Coleman grills even though they advertise it as such. Over all I do kinda wish I had spent the extra money and gotten the larger 285 grill or at least the 225 with wheels and stand. Because…. 1) Being able to buy all replacement parts or at least a full griddle insert. 2) Easier to transport with wheels and not having to always have a table handy to set this thing on. 3.5 stars because it is a nice grill and heats up quickly.

  • This is not Worth the material it’s made with. One camping trip, one hour of splitting wood. The ax handle bent and the blade chipped. Don’t waste your money on this product.

  • Like the lantern I use it for fishing, just like the old gas ones, the first thing to do is make a reflector, look online you will see they cover about half the lantern and direct the light away from you, I used doubled up tinfoil, take your time make it just the right size and then use duct tape, just a half inch of the tape needs to be on the plastic, the rest on the tinfoil, I cant stand the light in my eyes, whether making coffee on the campstove, or fishing I get my batteries at dollar tree, 8 heavy duty D batteries for 4 dollars. Heavy Duty batteries are a lot less likely to leak ( Than alkaline batteries ) if they are sitting in the lantern for a couple of seasons, and being LED they still last a long time.

Great tent for two adults with a queen bed and a couple camp chairs. Couldn't find an electrical inlet hole, but we used an open seam on the porch and passed an extension cord through the front door. The porch does get wet when it rains, but that water does not go into the tent and can be easily swept out. It rained steady for 24 hours during our camp, but there was no wind so we can't review how sturdy it is during a windy storm. Two of the walls got wet inside below the rain shield. All was good as long as you did not lean up against the wet wall. None of the other walls got wet inside. Wish there were more inside storage pouches. The zippers all worked smoothly. Easy for the two of us to assemble. I even did it all by myself once, but it was a struggle.

  • This arrives nicely boxed. Before you even open the box, you will notice the citronella. Now, open the box and pop out this cute tin. It has a matching tin top that allows you to ensure that the candle is out, protect it from bugs, and contain some of that citronella scent when not in use. This looks very cute on the patio and helps keep the bugs away. Win-win! And, it will last a long time! However, since this is a thinner metal container, be sure to place this on a trivet. That will protect your furniture from any heat. A really nice candle! Very cute but also very effective.

I got this for my mom's chihuaha mix. It is really nice and thick and easy to put on. She is old and doesn't really swim, timid dog and not so excited about the water. It's more for safety when they go in the boat, and it is outdoor - rivers, ocean, lakes. Deep and not like at a pool. I feel comfortable that if the dog were to fall out of the boat, my mom's precious Bitsy would float. It seems just like human life vests and professionally designed to last. The padding goes all the way around the body but is not too bulky or obstructive. The lining fully supports the undercarriage and is there for comfort. Seems well made, good size handle on top and has reflective strips on both sides not just the bright color. I got this color because while researching this type of product, it was supposed to be more visible from the ocean in case of rescue. Good product and great product from Coleman.
