  • I was looking forward to getting this new lantern. It showed up a day early but with a chipped & dented ventilator and a broken globe. I don’t want to return it for fear the next one will show up even worse. It worked out that I had a extra globe laying around that I’m happy to see get used & the dent & missing paint gives it character. I just wish I could have been the one to ding it instead of the delivery service. Thanks to Coleman for building a solid product that can take a beating.

Yes, after a lot of customer feedback Coleman finally decided to release a rainfly for their Instant Tent line. As seen in my pictures above it comes in a similar pouch and it has the same tie-down lines and pin-style stakes as the tents themselves. As of this writing I have yet to find any information on this item from Coleman themselves. Most of what I read before purchasing my Instant Tent 6 was on the FJ Cruiser Forum at [...], and the Expedition Portal forum at [...]. The rainfly itself is pretty much what you expect, a very tight weave of poly fabric with double-stitched seams, and it should work well. Considering all the Instant Tent reviews talking about leaking this should have been an available accessory from the very beginning, and if Coleman's smart about it they should start including it with the purchase of a new tent. A rainfly not only helps keep you dry when it rains, it also provides the air gap that becomes an extra bit of insulation in winter and summer. Since the fly has no venting it will retain some of the warmth leaking out the top of the tent in cold weather. In my neck of the woods it also provides some extra shade in the summertime. The two main reasons I gave this item 4 stars and not 5?.. 1. What vestibule? I realize the product description comes from Coleman, the manufacturer, and not from colemandiscount.com. That said, colemandiscount.com needs to amend it and take the manufacturer to task for the incorrectness. I pre-ordered this product even though no one had seen it yet and there were no pictures anywhere on the internet. I am happy that I have a rainfly for a tent that I enjoy using, but when the description clearly states "...The Rainfly also instantly creates a spacious vestibule outside -- perfect for stowing shoes and other gear...", then that is what you expect to get for your money. A look at the picture of the pouch shows Coleman's own image of the entry door to the tent with the fly on top of the tent. There is clearly no extra coverage over the entry door... 2. The description also clearly states that you can 'comfortably' open the windows when it's raining, yet the fly just covers the top couple of inches on those huge tent windows. Personally, if I'm going to have to spend extra to get a rainfly it should be worth the time and $$ and not just a specially shaped tarp (though most are). The fly should extend far enough down to get the windows at least half-open, and there should be spring-tension rods to give the fly shape and keep it rigid where it is away from the tent. Basically this would give the fly little 'awnings' for each window like those commmonly seen on roof top tents (see pictures here for reference - [...]). So in the end we finally get a rainfly for the Instant Tents, but that's all it is, so don't tell us it does more than that, Coleman.

  • DOES NOT COME WITH PUMP AS IT STATES IN PRODUCT DETAILS! Mattress looks decent. Can’t rate it yet because I haven’t used it yet. I read the product details before buying and it says the pump is included, but it was not. Very disappointing.

Product description says it is aqua. This is definitely NOT aqua. It is a Christmas grift for my son. Too close to send back and have replaced. Very disappointed.

Really needed to use our smaller cooler only to find out the plug was severed. Looked the cooler all over and found the model number underneath. A google search model number led me to colemandiscount.com. Before anything I tested to see if the plug even fit and then I broke out some needle nose pliers to aide in loosing up the part that was on there really tight. Screw off, screw on, done. No leaks. The plug was the only part I needed so the other 2 pieces went back in the package.

  • We're full-time RVers and we find it very important to have a comfortable chair for visiting. We both have back problems yet can sit for hours chatting in these chairs.

  • This is top quality. I have Coleman tents and sleeping bags that I still use from 40 years ago. I bought this as a second low temperature sleeping bag to connect with my other one. It it very comfortable on my skin. And keeps me perfectly cozy in the 50 degree weather we recently had. I rest assured it will do the same in extreme cold too. I recommend this 💯%. You can’t miss. Thank You

These hinges fit my Coleman model 6262/6263/6264 perfectly and are much sturdier than the cheap plastic hinges it came with (though those lasted at least five years of light use). I'm very happy to have only spent $10 on hinges instead of a lot more on a new cooler! It's unclear if the mounting screws are also stainless steel or are galvanized, so I'll be keeping the old screws in case these rust. It isn't clear which way the hinges are to be mounted: "dot" protrusion on top or bottom? I put it on the bottom since the other side may retain water and it seems to work.

  • I bought this to add to my “outdoor kitchen.” We recently used it camping and made hash browns and fries on it. Even though we forgot cooking oil, the food did not stick to it at all.

  • Used these only ONE time on a Coleman grill and this is the look of them on the bottom. Also they were transported carefully, in a bin, hand towels between them, I used plastic utensils while cooking and still they are all scratched up. I know they are low cost but after one use? That sucks.

  • We like to camp and my son needed a new sleeping bag. We ordered this sleeping bag and are very pleased with it. I will say, we haven't used it outside camping yet--my son has only used it inside sleeping in our basement. The sleeping bag is very lightweight, fits great in the stuff sack. I like that the top of the sleeping bag can be tightened around the person's head to help keep them warm, the zippers are very easy to zip, the sleeping bag is very well constructed. Another thing I absolutely loved is that there is a pocket inside the sleeping bag. I think this is so useful to be able to put your glasses case, a phone, a watch, etc and not worry about it getting lost in the tent. When my son slept in the basement, he said he was too hot in the sleeping bag--our basement can get pretty cold at night, so that tells me the sleeping bag was doing its job! Overall happy with this sleeping bag and looking forward to using it on a lot of camping trips!

I've owned these stakes for 6 years now and use them a few times a year. I added some nylon cord to the top of each stake and use that to pull the stake out. This puts stress on the shank of the stake and not the green plastic which is not very durable. I use a 1lb rubber mallet to hammer the stake into the ground and then use the wood handle through the nylon cord when I need to remove. This allows you to place 2 hands on the handle and use your legs to pull stubborn stakes (I've used all my strength before with this method and the nylon cord held strong). For those wanting to do the same mod, I used a constrictor knot to tie the cord to the shank and a double fisherman to connect the cord ends.

  • Easy to set up, looks pretty cool and does it’s job of keeping the heat and sun out. More of a 2 person tent with the inflatable mattress but that’s every tent. Great!

  • This is a small citronella bucket candle from coleman but is very strongly scented. Has a nice strong citronella fragrance. Good size wick for lighting. Have lite a few times and so far is burning even. Comes in a cute tin that could be recycled or used to make another candle. Overall pleased
