I bought this lantern specifically to have something when my power goes out, without worrying about batteries going bad. The description said batteries could last years without corroding due to the shut off. Well, one year in and the bottom is completely ruined/corroded/rusted and doesn’t work even after cleaning.

  • Less than a minute to blow up this float... Money well spent!!

This cooler is a good size for a day out with just me and maybe one lucky friend. It is big enough to hold lunch, drinks, and ice, but small enough that I don’t feel like I’m lugging around a mini fridge. The double-sided main zipper is sturdy and the insulation is thick enough without being bulky. I do want to mention that I was a little concerned when I first opened the cooler because the insulation lining looked “loose”, as in bigger than the interior. That wasn’t the case, it just had not been used and pushed into shape. Speaking of shape, the cooler itself holds its shape well. It has a firm bottom so it does not sag like an old tote bag, and it is still flexible on the sides and top and can thankfully accommodate the slightly too tall water bottle I keep bringing. Inside the lid, there’s a mesh pocket (no zip, open on top) where I put my non-ice-needing essentials like chapstick and a tiny bottle of sunblock, because I don’t want my lip balm melted into soup from the external heat or floating in cooler water. For carrying, there is a detachable shoulder strap and a double hand strap. I really like the little extras, things my other small soft-sided cooler doesn’t have. For example, it has a stretchy bungee on top that can hold my thin tech towel. There is an exterior side pocket (mesh, open on top) for small random odds and ends and a really nice zippered “expandable” (according to the tag) front pocket. It doesn’t actually expand all that much, TBH, but it is very convenient for a bottle opener, keys, phone etc. and kind of tilts forward some when opened for easy access. The cooler comfortably fits a six-pack or two four-packs plus a few snacks and ice. I haven’t tried fitting 16 cans, and if you do you may be playing a game of “cooler Tetris.” In terms of performance, so far it’s kept things cold all day. I haven’t tested the full 24-hour claim yet, but Coleman’s usually solid, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it holds up. Bottom line: great cooler for the price, perfect for short adventures, and I’m officially a fan.

  • Light was great. Charging cord storage in base is brilliant, but not as sturdy as I expected from Coleman. After one summer, the plastic lantern cracked along the side and across the threads after being dropped from a short height.

  • This is NOT a lightweight backpacking pad. It could work for car camping, but if your car camping you can get something much more comfortable easily and probably cheaper. Pros = 1. price, but you get what you pay for. Cons = 1. as you see in the picture the strap came off in the first week.

  • Worked perfectly for my tent camping needs. I used an 31" wide covered memory foam mattress I already had, it's comfy. I'm a senior and seeing all the complaints about setting the end pieces, I used the rubber/foam HANDLE ENDS of a large wrench (closed) between cot and end bar to pry and pivot the end pieces into place. That avoids making scratches on coated metal parts of cot. Had the ends attached in 5 minutes. Refolding and getting into its carrier bag took a little longer...but not over 10 minutes. I'm very satisfied with price, sturdiness, and ease of use.

  • It was a bit tight with a queen size air mattress, but other than that it kept us warm and without bugs! Easy to set up and pack as well.

  • I took two of these on a two night camping trip and couldn’t be happier. We zipped two of them together to make a two person bag. We did put a wool blanket over the bag, but slept comfortably in a warm weather tent with night lows of 37 degrees. Interior lining is soft and comfortable. Zipper does not snag like other bags. For those of you complaining about it not fitting back in the bag: will it roll up as small as when you first got it? Of course not. That’s why the storage bag has an expansion zipper. If you can follow simple instructions attached to the bag you can roll these up and fit them in the storage bag in 5 minutes. It’s not that hard. For the price, you can’t beat this bag.

  • Setups after the first time are very quick. Hard to fit all back in bag even with expansion but can be done. None of the tent seems are sealed, only the rain fly. They should have at least sealed the tub seam. Good for the price, I need it to last the summer, past that its a bonus, will see.

This is by far my favorite camping addition this year. Each year I try to find items that will improve my camping experience. Last year we went to Mammoth Lakes (Twin Lakes) the campground did not have a dish washing station. I have since learned that this happens at many campsites. Often times you are required to wash your dishes at your site- we were not prepared for this so it made dish washing very difficult. At the same time I also realized we spend a lot time walking to restrooms to wash hands. As I started to plan this year's trip I knew finding a solution for this was a priority. I found an idea on Pinterest which utilized a bucket with a spigot for dish/hand washing. I decided I would modify this camping hack to suit my needs. As always storage is an issue for me so I first started searching for a collapsible water carrier. I soon realized that a good one is hard to find so I decided to go with this hard durable plastic carrier by Coleman. To create my washing station I purchased: Coleman Water Carrier, InterDesign Self-Adhesive Towel Grabber, A folding paper towel holder, heavy duty velcro and Camco 42973 Rectangular Collapsible Wash Bucket. The towel grabbers come with a strong adhesive that stick directly to the jug. I placed one on each side to hold dish towels. I purchased a folding paper towel holder from my dollar store to hold the paper towels (check your dollar store or you can order something like... Good Cook Deluxe Paper Towel Holder- make sure you get one that folds flat when empty.. this will make it easier to store) I secured the towel holder to the top of water carrier with heavy duty velcro (you can try VELCRO - Industrial Strength - Extreme - 4" x 1" Strips- You could also try to find a towel holder that comes with permanent adhesive - I used velcro because I wanted to be able to remove mine) I then paired it with Camco 42973 Rectangular Collapsible Wash Bucket (the hack on pinterest used a 5 gallon bucket but space is an issue for me so I needed something sturdy that would collapse for storage and this was perfect). This was the perfect combination of everything I needed for my washing station. While at the campsite I found that I needed a place to keep my dish scrubber. So I placed the sponge inside a quart size ziploc bag and secured it to one of the Towel Grabbers. The Camco collapsible wash bucket served many purposes. It caught all the water so the campsite did not get muddy, I could then use that water to turn off the campfire each night. You can also use this bucket to wash, carry or dry your dishes in. Here is a picture of my camping hack. I hope this helps someone! **UPDATE** Just returned from a camping trip and I tested out two new additions to my water carrier. I added a scrub holder (InterDesign Kitchen Sink Suction Holder for Sponges, Scrubbers, Soap) which I attached with velcro to the side and also new towel grabs Spectrum Adhesive Towel Grabber Set of 2 Hooks) I still haven't decided which towel grabs I prefer so for now they are both stuck on there. But I absolutely love my sponge holder! Unfortunately the spigot broke on the carrier - which I have since learned is a problem for many. For now I won't knock off any starts since I am not sure how it broke (user abuse or manufacturing defect) I will purchase a replacement spigot and if it happens again then I will update this review. My advice if you are going camping (especially a long trip) purchase a replacement spigot just in case, because without the spigot the whole container is useless and we could not find a hack that would fix it so we spent a day without the proper use of the water station and it was torture! Next time I will have a spare on hand.

  • Carries 5 gallons. The container feels pretty solid for a collapsible. If your looking for a fast pour rate, this container isn't for you. It takes roughly 20 seconds for an 8 oz. pour of water. You can get a slightly faster pour if you apply pressure to the container. Haven't tried hanging it. For how heavy it feels when it is full, the hole provided for the intent of hanging it from a tree or branch doesn't seem strong enough to hold the container up but may when it is more empty. Overall very good for a 5 gallon water container that's needed on the go and can pack away in a pinch.

  • This tent is AMAZING! If you are looking for a kids tent, dog tent, or even an adult tent who is less than 5’5” I’d recommend this. The value for this tent is without comparison to others. This tent fit me, my two sons (<10 years) and my two dogs sitting up. Laying down comfortably-probably either me slightly bent and one big dog or two kids and a small dog. If you plan to buy this as a play tent, kids tent, or a dog tent-I highly recommend this! My kids loved it. My dogs utilized it when I went out of town as well.
