Very seldom do I write reviews because it is not often a product exceeds my expectations. I bought this tent because my previous one could not handle rain at all. Well, my second night staying in this new tent there were sever weather alerts - thunderstorms with high winds. This tent did not budge and there is NO moisture inside. One thing to know about this tent is 3 of the 4 sides are open mesh. There is no cover or privacy on the tent alone other than the front side with the entry. The canopy/cover is what provides the cover and privacy, and has proven to be 100% rain resistant, even with the cover touching the mesh sides. Due to only having 1 side that you can open with the canopy, it does get warm and air flow can be limited. I still highly recommend this tent.

  • I'm sure this lantern is just as good as my silver version that goes from 100 to 580 lumens. I love it. I used it a lot in my tent. I hung it in the center and didn't have to worry about fumes or burning a hole in my ceiling. I so want another one like the one in the photo but I can't find one anywhere, new or used, Ebay included. Coleman needs to bring it back.

  • I used these plugs on a Rubbermaid cooler, so I had to use a Dremmel to make the hole (both inner and outer) slightly larger. I then used a bolt with 3 half inch nuts locked together to easily secure plug to cooler. Also a hex socket could also be used.

  • This shovel is decent for lightweight and/or small applications, but it's definitely on the smaller side. The handle twists off to break down to a good packable size to fit into the pouch; however, the storage pouch is absolute garbage. It ripped the second time I was getting the shovel out.

  • Everytime we go camping we always say that we need to get foot stools. So this time as soon as we got home I ordered 2 of these. Just the right height and well built. Can't wait to use them next time we're camping!

Perfect twin size mattress for Subaru Outback. Fits perfectly in the back with seats down. Paired it up with Intex Quick-Fill AC Electric Air pump and was so easy to inflate, filled up in seconds. I cannot wait to use!

It is bright but has some serious drawbacks. I have been a lantern collector for many years. One or two of my Colemans are 100 years old. There are problems with this lantern that probably make it unsafe. First, the mantles. It takes a surgeon's hands to put the $4 (each) on. Be sure and turn the wire clips inward to avoid hitting the globe and destroying the mantle. I could see weak spots in the mantles after burn in, and, sure enough, one blew after less than 30 minutes. This happened several times. I am used to $1 mantles lasting for several months, even after transport. These pricey mantles will never last if you put them in a car after burn in. NEVER use the piezoelectric starter. As propane accumulates in the globe, you will hear a "foooomph" when the propane ignites. It burned the hair off the back of my hand and arm every time. Instead, take the top off the lantern, use a long lighter, then crack the valve. Lighting it this way creates much less drama. The lantern gets very hot! The plastic on the piezoelectric starter melted after four uses. You can see a broken mantle and melted starter in the picture. The burner tubes glow cherry red during use. Being made out of pot metal and some brass, I do not think they will last very long. The fuel valve gets too hot to comfortably touch. I kept the heat shield in place, of course. This lantern is as bright as a Petromax and I like its looks. That's about the best I can say. I think this model will end up having a short production run, and some of the collecters may be able to tinker away some of the problems. If you get one, be careful! It can hurt you. A couple of days after I wrote the original review, the lantern developed a propane leak I just couln't fix. I tried three different propane bottles. I give up. I'll be getting my money back on this one. Maybe they were having a bad day in the Chinese factory it was made in.

  • Towards the end of last summer, my husband and I needed to get some new chairs for when we sit outside or go somewhere since our old ones were worn out. I did some searching on here and these were the first ones that stuck out to me. I've known for awhile that the Coleman brand has a good reputation and I was pretty interested in these chairs since they have a lot of features and didn't cost a ton of money. We ended up purchasing the blue chair and the black chair. These oversized chairs are amazing and so comfortable! They are made in China of 100% polyethylene foam. The chairs measure approximately 24 inches wide when set up and 18 inches from the bottom of the legs to where the seat is. They can hold up to 325 pounds and feel very durable. My husband weighs about 350 pounds and he's sat in these with no problems although we bought him a chair that can hold a bit more weight, just in case. Some really cool features of these chairs are: a built-in cooler that can hold 4 cans (I can fit 3 comfortably and I think you could fit one lying on top of the other cans), a mesh cup holder which holds my water bottle, and side pockets which are GREAT for books, phones, and other small accessories like keys, wallets and sunscreen. There is one big pocket and two smaller pockets. These chairs are well-cushioned and so comfortable to relax in. The seat and back are cushioned and the arm rests are wide. The product tag also says the arm heights are adjustable although I've never tried it and the frame is made of strong steel which I definitely believe. The chairs come in a bag with a strap which makes them easy to carry. We've had these chairs for over a year and they are some of my favorite chairs that we've ever owned! I use them a lot during the summer and I've never had a problem with either of the chairs. One of the bags tore a little bit when I was putting a chair back in but that's not a huge deal to me. The tear didn't get any worse over time. Oftentimes I will sit in one chair and set up the other to use as a footrest..wow, is it so comfortable! I could sit in these chairs for hours because they are so comfortable! I don't really use the cooler as a cooler; instead, I just put my water bottle in it since it's a stainless steel one and somewhat heavy. It sticks out of the cooler but that's fine with me since I am just using it for a cup holder. I love the mesh pockets too and always stick my phone, Kindle or book in there when I'm not using them. Overall, I'm so happy I found these chairs because they are some of the best I've found! I feel the price is great for what you get and I like that there are a few different colors to choose from. We've never had a problem with the chairs themselves (only one of the bags) and several of our family members and friends have used them too. If you are looking at purchasing these for outdoor activities, I highly recommend them! They have been a great purchase and I would buy more of them in the future if we need to get more!

  • Glad I was able to get the part I really only needed one gasket but I had to buy a whole kit. Maybe we can get an aftermarket when someday.

Along with leak issues, the air pockets (or cells) within the mattress will separate internally causing large sections of the mattress to "bubble up" and distort making the bed unusable. I've had 3 of them and they all did the same thing, Coleman won't replace it if you run a day past your limited warranty or cannot find your receipt (if not purchased on colemandiscount.com) even though this is a design and manufacturing defect. Based on this response from Coleman, I'm no longer purchasing their products.

  • I got this tent because it is perfect for my need to have a tent to set up for car camping or bicycle touring. It's a Coleman and when they say waterproof I believe them, so that's one reason I choose it. Plus it's small but will fit a twin air mattress with room for gear inside. The biggest pluses are the panels of net window ventilation which are much larger than most tents and the ease of set up with only 2 poles to run through the sleeves and no use of stakes, but they are provided if you need them. It is just a secret little gem that is much more than a "kid's tent". I've also set it up inside and on my back porch for sleep ins and outs in the summer. It is wide enough to install a single height twin mattress but I had to put it in deflated and cut a hole on the side to insert the electric pump to inflate the mattress. This is wider and has the weather proofing already so it would make a great back packing tent as well. Rolls up very small to fit in a back pack.

  • I got this item specifically for hiking. I needed something ultra-lightweight to replace my current pad solution. Pros: Lightweight Quick Inflation Quick Deflation Cons: Crinkles What I received in the package: 1 x COLEMAN Ultralight Camping Sleeping Pad 1 x Storage Bag This COLEMAN Lightweight Camping Sleeping Pad product is roughly 13”x 4” in diameter when stored and about 72”x 28”x 2 1/2” when fully inflated. The pieces have the following weight breakdown: Pad 1lb 12.8oz Storage Bag 0.5oz The manufacturer does not specify but the pad appears toad is made of 40D Nylon and has a double valve. The top valve when open allows air only to go into the pad without escaping when you go to take a breath. The bottom valve when opened allows air to freely escape when deflating. What I liked about this pad is that it is relatively durable for a thinner material. I would still recommend putting down a tent tarp for added protection from piercings. The air chambers are in a sort of dog bone chamber style so you are not blowing up the entire mattress but little pockets. In my testing, it took me about 40 seconds to blow the pad up by mouth with 14 full breaths and not overly exerting myself or blowing until my lungs collapsed. This is amazing to me as setup is under a minute without a pump. When you pull the bottom double valve, air begins to escape and it practically deflates itself almost entirely. So all I had to do is fold and roll to push the remaining small amount of air out. It fits nicely into the storage bag on the first try. No need to re-roll it as I have to do with other product to get it compressed enough to fit. The pad was more comfortable than I expected. While on your back, it has maximum comfort. Turning to your side is less comfortable as your body is no longer pushing down against the larger surface area. So you tend to touch the ground in areas because of the centralized weight. What I didn’t care for about this product is that the manufacturer does not provide any detail around what the pad is made of or if it has a TPU layer. I assume it does but without specs it’s hard to tell if you are getting a raft or durable sleeping pad. The manufacturer offers a 1-Year Limited Warranty on this product. I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All in all, this pad seems to be a very nice product. Balancing weight and seems durability. IIt seems to be a quality pad that easily fit into my 1-Man Tents without issue. The best part of this pad is the quick setup and stowing. Under a minute either way. Just great as typically at the end of a long day’s hike . Setting up camp is the last thing you want to be time consuming … however, this pad is twice as heavy as my ultralight pad. The manufacturer does not provide any specs or warranty information. This product is made in China.
