An ideal sleeping bag for warmer weather like the Spring or Summer. Rated for 50°F, the sleeping bag has little insulation/padding. While this means that it is easy to manage, roll up and stuff back into the carrying bag, it also means there is not much cushioning for laying on hard surfaces. For that reason, this sleeping bag is best combined with a padded surface or raised camping bed. The polyester liner is not the most comfortable and can feel a bit scratchy to the skin. Given this is rated for "warmer" weather, the material is not the most ideal for warm sleepers as it doesn't have good airflow so it can build heat but opening can make it too cold creating that frustrating in-between temperature where having one foot out of covers feels almost necessary. And while this bag doesn't allow for one foot out. It does have a very large, easy pull zipper that makes opening and closing for getting in and out easy. The Sleeping bag comes in a carrying bag that is easy enough to get the on and off. It also has additional pull strings on the sleeping bag to help hold the bag rolled up, to help in putting away the bag. This is truly meant for one person - I'm 5'5", 165 pounds and there's only room for my body. Noted as able to accommodate up to 5'11".

  • As soon as I got the package I knew something was wrong...the chemical smell was so strong even through the package. And sure enough I opened it and the bottle had been leaking all over everything, wasting quite a bit of the product... But oh well there was still quite a lot in it still so I was going to just over look that and use it.. well the first time I put it on..ya the smell is crazy and smells heavily of chemicals and deet and really not like lemon eucalyptus at all and has the gross feeling in the skin similar to other repellents like Off. So I read the label and nowhere on it does it say deet free like the image in the listing. So I'm not such a fan..gave it to a friend who doesn't mind harsh chemicals.. maybe I was given the wrong product???

  • Worked great for my coleman 425e camp stove. Only thing I disliked was it comes with the new style plunger already on and you need to disassemble for the older style like my stove was.

As a cooler I haven’t used till now.. it doesn’t keep ice 5 days as the sticker says .. within 2 days I need to empty cooler out and refill with ice.. For a cooler to use as a day trip you would be fine . when your fridge goes out and you need it to keep some things cool for a few days it is not.. not without having to replace the ice till the part arrives…. Keep in mind this cooler is indoors not in sunlight and is in air conditioned house.. still the ice melted enough I had to open pour spot and remove the water within 24 hours and add the rest of the 40lb bag of ice . Now 48 hours later I need to empty the whole thing out and readd ice.. Better than nothing without question .. but to think cooler is insulated as it lets on , going to have call BS on that..

UPDATE: These bags *DO* zip together and can be combined to make a "2 person" bag. (Read below for my updates/explanation.) We purchased these bags for car-camping with the kids. We usually throw a comforter over the top of us (with camping pads underneath), but wanted something to keep the drafts out and sort-of keep us together under the comforter. These worked great, the price is good, and we can combine them into one larger bag (after initially not figuring out how to unzip the zipper in order to combine them). Note - the price on these tends to vary often. I've seen the price range from $24 to $15 each. Re. SIZE - the product description gives bag size (33 x 75 inches). When in the stuff sack, the product is about 6.5" diameter x 11" long. Re. TEMPERATURE - with our comforter set-up we could probably be comfortable down to 25F (in a tent). People's comfort level may vary, but alone the bags would probably be good for temperatures down around 55-60F. The fleece isn't super thick. Using them as a sleeping bag liner, they will probably increase the temp rating of a bag by about 10 degrees. DRAWBACKS - As some reviewers have indicated, the fleece material can "catch" on your legs if you move around a lot, but this is pretty typical of this type of liner. A silk liner inside this fleece bag might help, if you have that problem. Also, there is a gap between the the bottom end of the zipper and the fabric which can let a small amount of draft into the bag. I didn't find this to be an issue. Finally, colors vary and you can't choose color as of the writing of this review. This wasn't a big deal for us - the colors we got were all pleasant in our opinion (we got orange and green). Re. ZIPPER - I got 2 of these to zip together and make a larger 2-person sleeping sack. After purchasing two of these bags initially and returning them because the zipper didn't seem to come completely off either side of the zipper "coil" (which is necessary to combine or zip together with another zipper), I noticed other customers hadn't had the same problem. So I tried again and got 2 more. Turns out I am simply a zipper dunce. The front zipper handle has to be pulled/zipped completely back to the handle at the bottom/foot of the bag. Once they are fully seated together (at the very end of the zipper), one side of the zipper "coil" can be pulled out completely, allowing it to be zipped into and combined with another bag. (SEE PICTURES I've downloaded up at product title) So I wanted to set the record straight - I was wrong before. These bags CAN be combined! I am giving this produce 5 stars. I've uploaded a bunch of pictures of the zipper to illustrate what I've described above. Hope that helps! The front zipper handle does have a nice feature to prevent it from snagging/catching on the material. The zipper is also 2-way, allowing you to open the bottom for ventilation if desired.

  • Very well made box. Can fit your extra mantels and instructions inside as well. Will not hold propane. No padding at all so while it provides outstanding crush protection allowing you to pack your lantern anywhere it will not protect well from shock. I really like the way it folds open. Hopefully the photos with the tape measure will help others decide if it will fit their non Coleman models.

  • Curious why every single picture of this stove online reflects a dial that has an indicator symbol for ignite. Mine did not. Therefore it was unclear ignition required pushing past the dial stop point. I can imagine this is an issue for some buyers with a brand new stove in which the ignition system appears faulty. Troubleshooting with Coleman was not successful. Two days of wilderness vacation wasted having to go look for and buy another stove. Later to find out the real issue.

These are ridiculously easy to put on and exactly what my lantern needs.

  • Nice lantern. The latter housing stores away better than most other similar class lanterns. It clamps together very securely in a plastic clamshell. The operation is just ok. The starter requires the fuel knob to be reset each time. This was a little annoying when it didn't start a few times. The hardware doesn't seem to be the best quality. The carry handle on mine popped out a couple of times while move it. The light itself is very bright. It lit the entire camp site easily. The settings on the fuel knob are positive clicks allowing you to dim the light easily. The lantern was also very efficient. We ran the light from 7 to about 2 am and there was still plenty of fuel in the tank. The base does not attach to the propane tank. The tank just sits in it. Not a backpackers piece of equipment. It was way to bulky. I would definitely recommend this product to any base camper looking for good area light.

  • I always like a two storage unit soft sided cooler. This one is great, except as other reviews have said the zippers should be of better quality. I feel like the front pocket zipper is going to break at any moment, even though it’s brand new. Buuut as for the cooling feature, my Items have stayed cold and icy in my bag for a long time. I work in road construction from 4 AM until 6 PM most days so it definitely does its job in that area. Also the top pocket should be a zip pocket also because when you flip the top over to get to the cooler, you have to take everything out of that pocket so it doesn’t spill all over. So overall, Good. But those tweaks could make it Great. 10-24-2024

I was super excited to get this Coleman lantern right before the next Boy Scout trip. Followed the instructions to light the mantles after installing them only to have one mantle break off in the middle just as it was finishing it burn in. As the picture shows I'm not one less mantle so I need to find another to get this unit functional. Not sure what happened but it just came apart. Update - Coleman sent mantles to me and this baby fired right up! Super bright light on high, but it's loud and it blows through propane at that setting. This will certainly light up the entire campsite plus anyone close by.
