  • *Update: I contacted Coleman's customer service and was told that the tent was under warranty for a year and they would send new tent poles. I just received three tent pole repair kits in the mail. After reading the instructions, I am not satisfied with this solution. I do not have super glue or a hacksaw to customize these tent poles. The kit comes with several parts (minus glue and a hacksaw) but you are expected to thread the elastic into the posts and ultimately determine the proper length. To fix a faulty part I should not have to go buy these additional supplies to do so. (See attached photo for tent pole repair kit directions.) Coleman requested very detailed information regarding my purchase including the make and model of the tent. I provided every detail that they requested. Because of this I assumed that they would be sending the exact parts, not repair kits. I won't be buying another Coleman tent in the future after this experience and I will be returning this one. *One final tip: Be aware that if you decide to return this tent, you will not be able to fit it back in the box that it came in. I had to pay $15 for a box to return this because the original product is basically shrink wrapped to fit in the bag that it comes in. Once you open the box and then the bag, there is a slit on the bottom side of the bag that you cut and remove to expand the bag so it all fits. This allows you to fit it all in the bag, but you will not be able to put the bag and all the contents back in the box that it ships in. Bought this tent bc we wanted to upgrade size and I liked the concept of the door. The velcro doesn't even come close to lining up for the door, so unless you sew or glue additional Velcro to it, it doesn't serve its function. We did the best we could and bugs were getting in like crazy. Useless. The size of this tent is absolutely perfect for two cots, a large dog cot, and all of our stuff that we didn't want to leave outside for raccoons. Plenty of room to move around and had it rained during our trip we probably just would have hung out in here comfortably and not needed an outdoor canopy to protect us. It rained a bit overnight everything inside stayed dry. It was a very light rain though with no wind so I can't speak for that. We took everything home and then reassembled it to air it out the next day and one of the poles completely shredded moments after we put it up. No clue how this happened, other than poor quality to begin with. The other poles seem to be slightly bent in areas too, so it has me wondering if this tent was used by someone else before, and then returned because they definitely didn't feel like they were brand new. Just contacted Coleman for customer support to receive new poles and this will determine if we keep the tent or not. Overall the tent is okay, but I wish there was more storage inside, like a canopy to hang things and possibly some lower vents. The cover is huge and having to add a pole to it doesn't make it easy to set it aside during the day if you don't want it and then just add it if you need it for rain. It takes up way too much space. It's not the most convenient design. I was really hoping that this would be our go-to tent for small camping trips but the broken pole and the velcro door not working the way it should is frustrating.

  • This Skydome tent sets up in under 5 minutes, and it has space for 4 adults in the dry. Made by Coleman, I can't find out what fabric the tent is made of - even on Coleman's website! I believe it is polyester. It has welded seams and is 8 feet by 7 feet, and has a 4 foot 8 inch height in the center. That's actually taller than other Skydome tents. I'm 74. I don't bend well! I need that extra headroom so I can get dressed without falling out of the tent and rolling downhill! Sadly, that's happened! The tent has gear pockets inside above the floor, and a mesh "gear loft" in the center of the roof. Understand that you can't put much weight in the "gear loft!" The bottom extends up 6 inches and the walls are welded onto it. That means even if it rains, the inside of the tent stays try. Nice! It has a rain fly to keep you dry, and help keep the heat in it. They say it is suitable for backpacking and hiking. Right. Ain't happening! It weighs a HEFTY 11 1/3 pounds. But for your family camping trip? It's perfect! It will sleep 4 using sleeping bags. If you like luxury in the wilds, it will hold a single queen sized airbed with lots of space left over for gear storage. It even has a port on one corner so you can run an extension cord through the wall without water getting in! I love it! Later --- Now that I have more experience with this tent, I've learned a thing or two. First, you must take the lights OUT of the tent before you strike the tent and fold it for storage. If you haven't already, rip that white tape off of the carry bag that says basically "rip me off". This adds a fair amount of storage space, which you need! Why? You'll never get the tent back in that compact storage bag again unless you do expand the bag! And don't race to pop the tent up. You'll end up having to start all over again. The instructions are sewn into the storage bag. Follow them and you'll succeed! This a warm weather tent! There is mesh for a roof. There's a rain fly that can cover the roof, but you are fully open to the sky and weather without the rain fly. Due to the external skeleton, it is impossible to use the rain fly to stop the loss of heat. For winter and cold weather camping, this tent is NOT your friend! The tent has a "lighting system". Once the tent is up, you thread the light string through either a solid diffuser or through loops beside the diffuser for brighter light. It is rather a pain to push the light string through the diffuser. It's much easier to run them through the loops. There is a battery pocket at the top of the front wall. Before you strike the tent you MUST remove the lights!

  • Does NOT fit 6 cans. Thought this would be a great purchase to Bri g on a golf trip. No matter what configuration I tried I could only get 4 to fit. Maybe they meant capri suns or the mini cans? Disappointed. I bought literally for the purpose of packing a 6-pack.

Ordered a queen size to fit my queen frame. I could of worked with and inch or 2. But this is ridiculous. Second time ordering a 80x60 queen and returning, its not what's advertised. Even smaller then what's advertised on the box... Shrinkflation is the way it is... And we all know size matters!

Used this to replace the rubber pump cup (original) in my Coleman dual fuel lantern. I used a pair of needle nose pliers to twist off the plastic cover, removed the plunger, used a small screw driver to pop off the medal tab holding on the old cup, massaged some neatsfoot oil into the new leather cup, installed the new parts then gently worked the new cup into the plunger shaft. Works great. My only regret is not replacing the old one sooner! I now realize how much of my life was wasted pumping. This new one takes a fraction of the time.

  • A tree fell on top of my tent and two days later, when the tree guys finally freed the tent, everything was fine… the beds not only didn’t pop, the beds were still made! The soft fabric they are made from on top holds the sheet in place, they fill up fast, they deflate by themselves, and they are comfortable! Who could ask for more?

  • This is the Coleman Pro 16-Can Premium Soft Cooler. I think it's Coleman's first foray into soft-sided "premium" coolers. To compete with the likes of rtic and yeti. This Coleman is a bit smaller than the rtic 20 can version but it's half the price at $69 (nice). The Coleman has a thick tough blue ballistic nylon exterior, which I think will wear well as time goes on. It may get scuffed and dirty, but it's probably easy to clean with a little Dawn soap and water. I'd recommend spraying it with Scotchguard to help protect it from moisture and stains. It's got a nice big pocket built into the lid that acts as a dry storage area for any items you don't want to keep in the lower cooler area with ice and whatnot like your phone and/or wallet and other items. I think it's a great feature and it appears to be bigger than the one on the rtic cooler. On both sides of the cooler there are "Molle" style loops where you can attach any item that will hook to those loops. Maybe a bottle opener or wine corkscrew? It's a little extraneous to me, but I guess a low cost feature to add that isn't on any of the competitor's soft coolers. The bottom is a hard rugged material with a slightly raised ridge all around near the edges to provide a small lift off the ground when put on a hard surface. And a "Coleman Pro" logo stamped in so you don't forget what you've got. The inside of the cooler is finished in a thick plastic material that will keep water in as long as you don't flip the thing over upside down. This material lends itself well to easy clean up with a cleaning wipe or a damp paper towel. The zipper around the top is nice and thick, although it does tend to get caught on the nylon lip on the inside quite a bit. Just be careful when zipping it up and you'll be fine. We took this cooler on an overnight staycation in town and I filled it with a six-pack of adult beverages along with 3 medium sized blue-ice gel packs. It kept the beverages nice and cold for 24 hours in a 72F hotel room. That's about what I would expect from a nice thick "soft" cooler such as this. With the right amount of ice and ice packs, it will definitely keep your drinks cold on a hot day at the park or beach. There is no drain hole or plug on the side or bottom, so if there's liquid from melting ice or condensation, you'll have to open the cooler up and tip it upside down to get it all out. I like this cooler and expect to get a lot of good use out of it come this summer. Recommended!

  • This cooler is made from super rugged material with plenty of insulation to keep your drinks and picnic items cool even on the hottest days. It has one large main compartment for your drinks and cold/warm food items, and two smaller compartments for carrying other necessities- one of those compartments is flat on the top of the cooler and we fit a dozen cupcakes for our son's birthday in there! Each compartment has a different type of zipper- the main storage area has a heavy duty zip which feels absolutely 'expensive luggage' grade. The upper pocket zipper is slightly more flimsy, but still runs smoothly. The front pocket, which is made from a plastic material has a zipper that is super tight and does not feel nearly as durable as the others- we'll see and update the review as needed. The shoulder strap clips on and off and there's a carrying handle on top. I wouldn't mind seeing backpack style straps on this as it can get heavy with a lot of beverages, but perhaps those will be added in the future. As others have mentioned, both sides have Molle style strap holders so you can feasibly attach a lot more to this cooler. Overall, this one is a great choice for those days when you need storage for cold beverages or food!

The Coleman lightweight tent light is simply perfect. It’s remarkably easy to use and emits clear yet comfortable light. This product is ideal for late-night outings from the tent and for illuminating your shelter without disturbing others. With two lighting options and well placed buttons, it is very convenient. Coleman, a household name, is recognized by people of all ages, from children to grandparents. With a legacy spanning over a century, they have crafted timeless lanterns and gear. Although the low-budget Walmart offerings of the 2010s were a hiccup, Coleman has since regained its stride. The brand now seamlessly combines innovative technology with classic concepts and designs, resulting in improved products. This tent light, alongside their spotlights, has easily become one of my favorites.

  • As a solo female van lifer, I needed a screen tent that was easy to set up and this one fit the bill. It only took me about 10 minutes total for set up. The size is perfect to fit my 2 blow up chairs with a side table and my cooking table. It has a ring in the top center to hang a light and storage pouches in 2 lower corners and 2 upper corners. The guy lines are strong enough to hold up in windy conditions and it has a removable floor which was a requirement for me, however it is kind of thin so I’ll be using my outdoor rug under it to avoid getting tears when setting it up in rocky areas. The zippers are sturdy so I don’t need to worry sent them breaking the first time I use them like others I’ve had in the past. It does provide shade from the top, but depending on the sun location, it might not be much inside the tent. Folding it up and getting it back in the bag was super easy too. Coleman is a brand my family has used for as long as I can remember due to their quality so I was excited to find this screen tent. Overall, I am extremely happy with this tent and highly recommend it.
