This Coleman cooler is a great option for keeping your drinks and lunch cold when you hit the road or the trail. This arrived in the mail and went right to work on a weekend getaway, and it performed particularly well riding in the back seat without any leaks over the course of the weekend. The size of the cooler bag is perfect for a weekend getaway worth of road sodas and snacks. We packed 6 cans of juice and a few sandwiches on top with some ice in the bottom, and the ice stayed fresh and frozen for a good 12 hours after we'd left. The bag is easy to rinse out and dry, as well, and then packs up easily due to its collapsible, soft design. The included strap is convenient for carrying it over your shoulder, and will definitely come in handy this summer on our beach outings. The overall construction is solid and well-made, with heavy stitching and clean seams. The zippered top and front pocket work great without snagging also. As an alternative to "classic" rigid coolers from Coleman, this option provides an easy and clean way to transport your cold foods and drinks, and - frankly - I prefer the soft materials over the hard shell designs for carrying. Altogether, I'm stoked to have this in our arsenal of road trip and camping gear!

My husband received one of these for his birthday in June and I loved the concept and hew of light, so I bought a second one and we gave away our 'real' lanterns. On the first camping trip the light started to flicker and went out. After touching it, it went back on. This kept happening for about 15 min. until it went out for good. Our second lantern did the same exact thing on our following camping trip. So I called Coleman customer service and they first told me that we cannot get a refund for the 'gift’, but ultimately they gave us a refund for the other lantern. UPDATE: initially I gave this lantern one out of five stars, I just updated it as we realized the problem was actually very simple. The poor electric connection was due to the top battery lid not tightly screwed in all the way. If you push a little beyond where you’d normally twist the battery back in, it fits into a little groove, where the connection works. So this whole time it was our fault for not fitting it in correctly. Since we figured that out, they have worked pretty well. I like the shade of warm white light they give off, compared to other brands. But one other bad thing is the clear plastic cover for the lights scratches very easily- and I recommend that you make some soft cover for it as soon as you use it- otherwise it dims the light, eventually.

Pieces of junk! The compression straps can only take a slight pull before they fail. The straps are thin and weak, and the plastic clasps are also thin and weak. I'm not sure why you would design a compression sack that can't handle....compression. I would understand if I was yanking hard on them, but it only took a slight tug to break them. I bought five units and it was not a single unit failure. I'm just going to toss all of them and call it a loss. I seldom write colemandiscount.com reviews but wanted to prevent future buyers from suffering the same mistake I did.

I used this to add a new drain plug to my Coleman Party Stacker 24 beneath one of the moulded handles. I made a ‘Franken-Cooler’ for sous vide cooking and wanted to add a means to remove the water in a more controlled manner. The wall of the party stacker is insulated and is just under an inch thick. I had two Coleman options - 1” & 1.5” shaft lengths. The 1” shaft Coleman drain plug would only just be visible in the hole especially with the rubber gasket added. More important though is that it is not threaded to the tip. I’m not sure if the ends would connect within the hole and also if there would be enough drain available to close the plug I therefore chose this 1.5” shaft version and it fits great. It sticks out an acceptable amount for me. I drilled a 3/4” hole with a spade bit and needed to whittle it until it could accommodate the width added to the shaft by the gasket.

My husband and I purchased this tent as a replacement for a yurt or a bell style tent that we had used last year during camping over the summer. As for this new tent, the weather master, we first set up the tent without the rain fly and were beyond pleased with the amount of airflow we got from the open top of the tent. We had two queen size air mattresses and a dog crate inside and still had plenty of room. my number one favorite thing about the inside of this tent is that it’s tall enough that we can stand up inside. When it rained during we day we brought our camping chairs inside and played cards and it was plenty comfortable for a group of 5. Although our camping trip included rain storms every night, and one night with very heavy winds. The steady winds were about 30 mph with even stronger gusts. The tent held up like a champ, although the sound of air blowing under the rain fly was a little bit loud.. We were able to zip up some of the windows to prevent rain from getting in, but could also open the windows under the rain fly to get some airflow when the rain & wind weren’t too crazy. We practiced setting up the tent one time at home and my husband was able to almost completely set up the tent by himself while I was watching the kids. we really loved the hinged door. I wasn’t sure what the purpose of this was before setting up the tent and using it, but it’s extremely convenient to go in and out of the tent, especially if you’re carrying things and the door will shut behind you. It has Velcro to automatically attach when it shuts, but you want to make sure you zip it up overnight or when it’s going to be a long amount of time to prevent bugs from getting in. I would definitely recommend this tent to anybody looking for a larger family, friendly tent That is also very durable and weather proof. The issue with the yurt was that there was not a lot of airflow because the windows were low down and we were camping at the beach during the summer. We also had issues with the yurt tent not holding up in a bad thunderstorm due to heavy winds.

Muy bueno

Easy swap that took a couple of minutes and it gave new life to my ice chest again. The old handle was stuck in closed position.

When I received it, I found that it expired three years ago!

This is my THIRD Coleman chair- the first two are still going strong - We use them now at the grandsons soccer games - Wish Coleman would re think the cup holder SIZE, it will not hold a coffee cup . This is a GOOD chair - it is not a lazy boy recliner !

The price was right and the shipping was fast, however, when it arrived I opened it and inflated it to make sure everything was good for my trip and there was this piece of crumpled up tape in one of the creases. When I removed it, it looked as if it had been repaired. I still had to take it on my trip because I was leaving the next day and a replacement wouldn't come in time. On my trip the bed was very comfortable and easy to inflate but I had to inflate it every morning and night because it would lose air. It is being replaced now that I'm back but I have to give 3 stars because it seems as tho refurbished beds are being sold as brand new in brand new boxes. It has been replaced and it works great!

Description mentioned “Made in USA”, but not true, according to the Coleman package I received. These stainless steel hinges are MADE IN CHINA! However, since they are metal, they should last longer than the original plastic ones that came on the cooler. But being MADE IN CHINA, I’m not sure of the quality of the stainless steel plating & rustproofing as time goes on. Description should be accurate & not misleading. On another note, these hinges fit model 6277/6278, but is not listed on the description as well (or on the Coleman package I received). Just make sure you have the 4 screw type (shown on the top cooler) versus the non-screw type hinge. This type allows the lid to be removed & flipped over for cup holder/tray use. However, these steel hinges can still be used, but you would have to drill/screw new holes on both the cooler and lid (I.e., modification)

It is a typical small soft sided cooler. It's exactly the size I needed to take a couple drinks and snacks for a day trip. The bike loops do fit on my handle bars, but I dont know how long they will last since they are pretty narrow and don't feel sturdy. The "convertable strap" is sewn on both ends like a fanny packbelt. It does not have a latch that can be hooked on either corner like depicted in the instructions. There is a sleeve to stow the belt. I can still wear it slung behind my back, but took the stars off for it being misrepresented. How this mistake made it past quality control is beyond me. Obviously Coleman is either too cheap to fix the design mistake or to reprint the tags.

I ordered this to take camping and ordered it for the handle and wheels. However, during its first use, the handle had broken off. I rated it 3 stars because all the food at least stayed cold, only issue is the handle.
