   I checked the ability to have a very low flame for simmering. This stove works well with that, I am happy.
   If your new or older stove will not perform a low simmer flame, check youtube for cleaning the valves and lubricating them! It works like a charm and I fixed a relatives stove that only would do medium and high flames.

   We have used this stove a few times now, and can highly recommend this stove. The two burners put out great heat and quick, with an easy set-up and tear-down. The wind screens are just the right size, and the stove itself is reasonably lightweight.

   We would buy again – but expect this one to last for years to come!

    I purchased this as my main stove for my van conversion so I could cook either inside our outside as conditions dictate. This stove is bomber and cranks out the BTU’s for fast cooking. It can be dialed down to simmer with a delicate touch.
    Note that as simple mod to reduce the rattle when packed is to put a small rare-earth magnet on the wind-screen flap at the end. This keeps both wind screens firmly against the lid when stored greatly reducing the rattle and also keeps them from flopping around as you open or close the stove. (It’s a fix that should be standard!)

    Purchased this for a camping trip several years ago and never used it, but finally had the chance this past week on a wilderness camping trip. This little stove is compact, easy to set up and a snap to use! The self-igniting worked on 1st click and the coffee was ready in no time! Adjustable flame knobs worked perfectly to cook as you would on a home gas stove. We are very happy with this and look forward to much more use!

    Excelente estufilla, practica y muy útil. Le di de comer a 8 personas en un campamento varias comidas en tiempo récord. Sugerencia adquirir la plancha (se vende aparte) o en su defecto conseguir un comal, esto facilita mil veces las cosas, esto más una holla profunda (yo uso un pocillo grande) y listo. Queda perfecto.

    La desventaja es el peso y las dimensiones. Si vas a salir con la familia y amigos (más de 2 o 3 personas) es ideal pero si solo salen 2 o 3 personas es mucho peso y espacio, recomendaría algo más pequeño como una estuda de un solo quemador o similares. Igualmente se usan muchos tanques de propano, aprox me duran 2 comidas por tanque máximo 3 para calentar para 6 a 8 personas. Y preparando todo de 0, tal vez sooo calentar comida duraría hasta 4 o 5 veces.

    Simple, functional design with some build quality issues. Pro: Electrically simple design. Easy to remove grill and easy cleaning. Mostly durable parts, though knobs and ignition stick out when cover closed. Con: Build quality lacking 1) burner top should sit on top of frame but construction had one side under frame and one on top causing warping in body and misfit in closure. I pried the frame out to fix this, which relieved the tension. (See pic) 2) the burners and ignition heads are poorly installed or designed to poor tolerances. One burner is close enough to igniter to cosistently ignite (see pic), the other is at a distance that requires more fuel to ignite (see pic)… not as good on near empty fuel tanks. Havent tried to fix this yet. The burners are also not level (see pic)… though that is a nit, more so when cooking with cast iron. Mods: I bought this because many friends have this and it’s a simple work horse. I did some simple upgrades to mine. 1) added cork stickers to feet to prevent sliding (see pic). I might drill out bottoms and use rubber tips in future. 2) added small round neodynium magnets to prevent wind shields from rattling when stowed (see first pic). 3) more importantly, added 3 magnets to the fuel line adapter (see pic). This really helps it from rattling around and banging into the ignition tips (see pic).

    CONS
    Kind of slippery on the bottom, would benefit from some grips on the base
    The clasp is flimsy, the locking mechanism doesn’t feel too sturdy so I’m afraid it’ll open during rough handling

    Overall a great option to use for camping and it’s reliable.
