Used the first time and highly recommend this cooler with wheels and handle. Used for ice and beverage cans for a small gathering. Ice stayed solid for over 3 hours. Probably would last longer. Will use for traveling, beach, and also for the car to keep groceries cool on a hot SC summer day. Nice and lightweight, attractive, well made.

I drive long trips and I carry a cooler of snacks and drinks on the road. Until this cooler I used a lunch bag cooler, and before that a small hard side Igloo. Neither of them did as good a job as this Coleman. I like it so much I’m considering buying a backup. If they have your size try it. I think you’ll like it 🙂

First off, this cooler is not spill proof, it is leak proof. It does not leak or sweat through the body of the cooler. If you are using ice instead of ice packs, as the ice melts and water accumulates in the bottom of the cooler, it can leak through the zipper if it is tipper over. I knew that going is so no big deal. This cooler has everything I wanted; light weight, leak proof, plenty of storage pockets for smaller items, a molded durable bottom and, a bunge strap system for lugging around a hoodies, towels, etc.
This is not a $300 Yeti style backpack cooler meant for extended trips out in the wild. This is however a perfect backpack cooler for a day’s use. We take it out on the boat with us for the day and absolutely love it. It is easy to access, stands up straight, is leak proof and super easy to carry around.
Buy one, you won’t regret it.

It’s just outside of the return policy for me to return and get a refund. I’ve been using this cooler pretty much everyday since I bought it just over a month ago. The interior lining is very thin and flimsy and has a small puncture in it and now, once the ice melts, it leaks all over the place. This item wasn’t cheap and I would expect it to last more than a month. Now I have to come up with a way to actually patch the inside of the cooler. Not worth the money.

I love the color of this cooler but it’s smaller than I was hoping it would be. Its only tall enough for regular cans, not even taller energy drink cans, and I take bottles with me to work. Having to lay them down takes up a lot more room food could go in. I work 12 hr shifts so have to take enough food and drink to cover all that time and this cooler is not big enough for that.
Because of this, I’ve not actually used it to know anything about performance or how long it keeps things cold. I meant to return it but it got stuck in a corner and forgotten about and now it’s too late.
(Its also really hard for me to return things now that you can’t do it thru The UPS Store.)
