An amazing tent as long as you realize it’s limitations. As far as quality, it stands true to most of Colemans tense. The stitching is strong the fabric is strong and water resistant, this will last quite a while. When something advertises itself as intuitive I take that to mean you can pretty much set it up without looking at instructions. Yeah… Not so much. But I will say that once you read the instructions and digest it a bit it is easy to put together, and once you’ve done it once or twice it is very quick. This tent is massive, you could easily for the family in here with tons of room. Awesome airflow with well-positioned and very big screening windows. The limitation‘s are the wait. You want to be able to pretty much pull your vehicle up to where you want to set up camp because you don’t want to be carrying this bad boy any length of time. So tracking this into the woods is not gonna happen. I would go so far as to suggest that unless you are quite strong, you plan to pretty much take it out of the car and not go more than maybe 40 or 50 feet to your campsite.
As far as the price, it aligns with the quality and I found it to be reasonable.

As an avid camper and backpacker, president of the state camping club, and girl scout leader, I have done more than my fair share of camping and gone through more than my fair share of tents. In general, Coleman tents are fine . . . not top of the line but not the bottom either. I have the same feeling about this tent.
We are a family of 8. Tents NEVER fit the number of people advertised if you expect to have anything other than people in the tent. This is the case with this tent as well . . . we ended up using a second tent for gear and both parts of this tent and still felt crowded.
It is heavy. I am not a weak woman, but I did find it challenging to lug this myself and it is easier to do with two people. Same was true of setup. I have 8 people tents that I can put up myself, this one I needed an extra hand (or two, or three . . . )
It is January here so I had to wait for a bit of a break in the weather to test this out. It is not advertised as a winter tent so I didn’t expect it to stay warm and it didn’t. I do like the bottom that wraps up a bit, but that is on most tents now. We were good the first night . . . the second we had some light rain. This tent leaked at the seams and at the window . . . good thing we were in our backyard and could head in for the night.

This Coleman Skylodge Instant Tent With Screen Room is like having your own luxurious palace when you are out camping. This tent is really big and has plenty of space. We are a family of 4 and this tent has more than enough room for all of us. The tent is very easy to get all setup after you get the hang of how it all comes together. We have used this out on camping trips many times now and the tent is so easy to get all setup. The carry bag is also very large so it is easy to get the tent all folded up and put back into the carry bag. The tent is also pretty heavy too but I am able to carry it by myself without any issues. The tent does seem to stand up to weather pretty well too. We had a camping trip that had a lot of wind and rain and we really didn’t have any issues with the tent. I think this is a very nice and well built tent. I would really recommend this tent to all of my friends and family.
