I basically bought a brand new item I’ll have to make repairs on before I ever used it. Set up is easy. It rained briefly and kept us dry. Good size for 2-3 people and a dog. Really like the screened in vestibule idea. Terrible quality control. Loose threads everywhere and a gaping hole near the main door zipper between the vestibule and main tent. Unacceptable from Coleman. I know if I return it I’ll get push back because I had to use it. It came barely in time for my trip so I didn’t get a chance to set it up prior to leaving or I would have never used it. People depend on these types of products to keep them dry and safe. I really have no tolerance for low QC when it comes to these types of goods. It’s not an item where only esthetics count, it’s a tool for survival in some cases.

I read the negative reviews. But I still bought the tent. I was careful about the accessories. I bought a 16mm thick tarp to go under the tent bc of reviews describing holes from gravel. I bought substantial stakes for sand instead of using the flimsy stakes provided. I bought a rug runner with a non-slip bottom for the screened in porch. I didn’t worry about fitting to the edges . It was for pressure points from the chair legs. Also, we took our shoes off on an outside mat. The carpet felt great on the feet when we entered the tent. Love the privacy panels for the porch. We kept a commode in the porch at night. First night camping I needed to use the bathroom. It was 5am. There was lightning and rain. The pit toilets were 4 campsites away. They didn’t have lights either. Yes! For the privacy panels in the porch! No need to worry about a bear encounter which was possible or marauding raccoons which was a definite.
Use common sense. No tent will stop sharp gavel. Know your terrain for proper stakes. If drenching rain is expected use a separate rain fly. We carry an extra tarp for this reason.

We are 2 people with a dog. This tent is awesome. The little entry area is PERFECT for us in the PNW with the rain here. We can keep bags, kick off the boots and dry the pup before she gets into the sleeping area in that little entrance.
It rained hard and was VERY Windy the first night we used it. Nothing “leaked”, the bottom stayed dray….but the rain tarp doesn’t come all The way to the bottom, and some small amounts of water splashed onto the screen from the wind blowing the tent hard, and splashed in… If you rain camp, you know it’s hard to stay dray even with great equipment. (We weren’t soaked, mostly residual moisture). We were happy with the performance, with no wind this thing would be super dry inside.
Overall this tent performed well for the nasty weather we had and setup easy. Great car camping tent. I would recommend it.

I recently tried car camping, two weeks sleeping in a Subaru Forester convinced me I would be happier in more spacious accommodations. I had admired the tent set ups of some of my neighbors, all that space, standing headroom, indoor potty! My 2 person tent suddenly lost its charm, it made a nice little camping shed/pantry, but as an alternate living space…I could do better.
I liked the looks of this tent, the Coleman reputation, the decadence of having all this just for me! I had a friend help me set it up to do a quality check, took us about 15 minutes, there are a few technique issues to figure out. I feel confident I can set this up myself, going to use a clamp or strap as a stand in for a helper, there is a ‘hold that’ spot where a third hand was a big help.
Love the built in poles, the color coded fasteners for the rain fly, the expandable storage bag, and that roomy interior! It was very easy to fold back up and rebag, just pay attention when you unfold it, reverse the process. Now all I need is a camping trip to give it a good and proper try out. Come on springtime!!

This is a nice tent if you are doing basic camping. The poles on mine broke on the first campout, but it was not pitched on flat terrain. I give it 4 stars because Coleman was awesome when it came to refunding my $. It was still under warranty and I was not confident that fiberglass poles would start up to the type of camping we do.

Was easy to set up three poles total!! Plenty of anchor points, held up nicely to wind and rain we got a fair bit of rain and wind on our first trip not one drop inside the tent and tent didn’t move around to much during rain with it all tied down. Love the size of the tent I’m a six foot tall guy and with a pillow top 20 inch think Coleman air mattress queen in size I was still able to walk for the better part around it. Lots of room for bags or a fold up side table beside bed on either side. Lots of storage sleeves inside tent in entry and by bed. I was also able to have both my kuma chairs inside the entry area for seating when it rained with a small table in middle for card games was nice love the entry way for the bottoms got a pan just like the main living space in tent I would by this tent again tomorrow if I needed another!

Very pleased with this tent. Slept in it 6 nights our first trip out and no complaints. Love , love, love the screen tent in front. No leaks and easy set up. Would definitely recommend .

This is the perfect camping tent for warm to moderate cold. The extra space is perfect for the dog or leaving the shoes outside. Very easy to set up. I’ve use it during rainy nights and there was no water inside the tent the next morning.
