   Bought it for my mom from Walmart when I was in town and she had power outage. The product works great, but there is no charger cord and plug included!
   So after an unfruitful call to Coleman call center, I found this one on colemandiscount.com. So, I returned product, this was cheaper and my mother gets it. Again no charger cord. Really??
   I called AGAIN online, they didn’t have a clue about product, it was a generic call center to handle broken product returns, send photo and info upload to link, etc etc. So I guess Coleman is banking on the fact that you will buy your own plug for it. It has one with a USB port, but most USB ports are facing the charger plug and there is another style of adapter for the end. It has a second port for an unusual adapter, and there were no matching ends, so either I have to buy one or get Coleman to send me one, and evidently it’s an impossible task, or else Coleman is just racketeering and figure they could save thousands of dollars if they don’t make them with power cords. Checked the box, not in the bottom compartment either.
   Expected more from Coleman which was for decades a well respected company. It would be a five star if they had the plug. I’ve wasted so much time trying to resolve this. That’s why they were counting on me buying my own! ARGGGGGHHHH!!!

   The item works great but my dissatisfaction is that I didn’t receive two of the same size. One was the correct size “ larger size “ but the other was a smaller size. Didn’t bother to return the item. The brightness is great of the larger one, the smaller one is brightness of a small lamp. Versatile options are also great. As well as battery life and charging ability. Either size would be valuable for money spent on items

   I bought 4 of these November 2022. A year later and only 1 will charge. The two that are pictured have the metal port piece that actually came out of the lantern when it was unplugged and the third one has a port but simply won’t charge. I need to use these every day in the winter and am extremely upset that they are so poor quality and I wasted my money. The 1st one to brake took only about 2 months and then the 2nd one broke after 3 months. This fall, the 3rd one broke.

   Perfect little lantern. I like that it charges and does not use addition batteries. A dim and bright light. Both plenty bright. Cord and plug fit in bottom of lantern. I like that it can also charge your phone from lantern battery.
   Would highly recommend.

    I have owned and used Coleman products (lanterns, stoves, coolers, tents) for over 60 years and have found all of the ones I owned to be well constructed and reliable. I recently ordered the rechargeable LED lantern and it appears to be the same quality. The light is very bright on High.

    False advertisement! Is not rechargeable! Takes 4D batteries. Does not come with any type of charging cable because it’s not rechargeable. Incorrect description.

    I purchased this model in 2018 and was surprised it was still available. I was also surprised it is more than $60 in February 2025. I can’t imagine I paid that much in 2018 but I think it may be worth the current price tag and will probably buy another one. It is that consistently good.

    It charges quickly then goes into storage for months. The low setting will provide constant output for over 10 hours. We use it often as a night light when camping and in emergency situations. It is a great lantern and I have zero complaints. It is expensive compared to others but it has NEVER failed my family in an emergency.

    It is worth the cost.
