   I read numerous reviews and noted conflicting answers as to whether or not this travel case would fit the Coleman RoadTrip LXX model grill. Despite all this, I took a chance and ordered one for myself. I am here to confirm that the LXX model fits without a problem into this case. Yes, the handle does first need to be removed (takes all of 10-seconds with the push of a button). Once removed, open the case up completely and set the grill in. For storing the handle, I simply placed it in the case behind the hinge-side of the grill (if you look at the photos close, you can see it peeking up). That’s it!! I did not have to break out a shoe-horn to make the grill fit, or struggle to close the zipper top or anything like that and the seams on the case don’t appear to be stressed to the point of bursting or anything like that. By all accounts, this seems to fit very well. I can’t really speak to the durability aspect as I’ve not actually used it yet, but from a fitment standpoint, this seems to be about perfect. The front, mesh pocket also allows for storing the optional griddle I had also purchased.

   This is a must have if you camp with the roadtrip grill. This cover not only protects it but helps to contain everything during transport. We primarily use our roadtrip for camping so having a cover like this is a must have.

   Writing this to provide proof that the bag can fit on the Xcursion grill, however the bottom of the legs have to be removed (as shown in the photo). I made some Velcro straps to hold the leg piece in place when not in use.

   Saw some reviews saying the grill didn’t fit but ordered anyway after seeing most of the 4 and 5 star reviews saying it was no problem. I just got the bag and grill (LXX) this weekend and I can tell you it fits GREAT. The first impression of the bag was QUALITY. It is a heavy canvas material and heavy zipper. A mesh netting on front can fit tools, propane tanks, etc. The botton has little wheels and a sewn on handle on each end, so you can lift it up with both handles to store in car, and pull it along like luggage with the wheels. The inside has 2 large pockets along the bottom when laid down flat for grates, which I plan to also store the griddle and stovetop accessories in as well. Remove the plastic grill handle with the push of a button and store it INSIDE the grateless grill lid (see photo), wrap gas nozzle in paper towel and also store inside grill lid, store the grates in pockets, grill (wheels go on wheel side of bag), and zip her shut. Perfect. Very satisified, lets see if she lasts but I suspect she will. If you bought a Coleman RoadTrip grill, buy this bag! Edit: bonus, my cuisinart travel grill tool case fits in the bag along with 2 small propane tanks. That’s how much room this thing has.

   Good strong carry case. In this picture I can put full size griddle and the bbq. You have to take off the handle but does fit everything inside just take a bit of effort. Hopefully the material will stretch out over time but happy with product. Inside is the Coleman 285 and full size roadtrip griddle

   Good quality. But the fit is snug. I assume as it’s used more it will be easier to put the bbq back in. Note as with other reviewers I must take my handle off and store separately in order to get it in.

   Update: a year in and a few camping trips since. It’s much easier to get the grill in to the bag. It’s now relaxed enough to fit the grill in without the handle quickly. (The first time felt like wrestling an alligator). The bag seems to be handling storage and transport well and I like the peace of mind knowing that the grill is safe when heading to our campsites.
