Buy it you won’t regret it. I get a lots of questions and comments from other subcontractors about it. Time will tell once July gets here. Right now it’s holding my ice bricks all day in the front seat of the Ram with direct sun. I’ll update this review in September. Swamp heat can get even the best coolers warm. Built strong but lighter and 2 carry options. Looks professional and easy to carry loaded.

Defective right out of the box. Strangely the box was undamaged so clearly a quality control issue. I never bought coolers from colemandiscount.com but after seeing this I’m not sure what to do.

I went on a camping trip over a long weekend, and we still had plenty of ice after 3 days. Works waaaay better than the old igloos and basic Colemans that I was used to. Glad I spent a little extra, but not nearly as much as a Yeti.

This cooler has many nice features. Here’s what I like: -Feels very durable and sturdy -Can also act as a seat -Latch is easy to open/close and feels secure -Well insulated -Has a built in drain valve The cooler is however, on the heavier side when empty and is quite a bit heavier with ice and cans added. It was okay to carry over a short distance, but not so much when we had to carry it further. In addition, for a smaller cooler the value is on the higher side ($159.99 at the time of this review). Overall it is durable and holds a good amount for 25qt.

This is a crazy big cooler! It is as big as my fireplace. It weighs over 32lbs. The advertisement boasts that it is “lighter” than other kinds of molded coolers and states that it is 14.78kg. This is a US advertisement and it uses a metric weight. Do not misunderstand that it weighs 32.58lbs, empty. Think about storage space available in your home and in your car to transport this beast. Consider the weight after you fill it with ice and beverages. Yes it has wheels but how are you going to lift it into and out of your car.

I had been using a 45qt cheap Igloo cooler for years that I constantly had to buy ice for. My kids bought this Coleman Pro for me for Father’s Day and we promptly tested it out on a two night camping trip in 95+f Texas heat. Two bags of ice is all we needed for this cooler and when we came home on the 3rd day, we still had ice in it. I like the color as it also matches well with our Adirondack chairs on our patio.

It is not a Yeti, but a great compromise with the price.

Storage capacity:
Very nice cooler. Very different from the older Coleman coolers. Lots of storage space and good ice retention. Cooler isn’t as heavy as the other premium brands and substantially cheaper. Love the light blue color.

It’s sturdy and works with a solid warranty(Coleman has been around for a long time & figured good customer service tbd). When comparing it to my 7 year old hollow Colman classic $20 cooler-I honestly expected so much better! If I had to pay the $200 mark currently it would have been sent back asap. For the memorial sale price I will keep it. Otherwise get a yeti or the blue one from cabelas. I avoided the RTIC cooler due to the warping after two years and poor customer service reviews.

I went on a 5 day camp in the UP but it was pretty cold and packed minimal frozen water bottles. Meats stayed cold even when everything thawed out. No complaints on functionality.
