I got this little Coleman camping tent kit just because I thought I might need it and sure enough I did! The stakes are alot stronger than the ones that came with my tent for sure! I actually used these to stake down a tarp I put down then put my tent on top of the tarp. My Grandson actually set the tent up in 40 MPH winds so that in it’self was a challenge! But the rubber mallet and stakes kept the tarp down and I was thankful I listened to the little voice that told me to get it! I didn’t use the the broom and dust pan as the tarp kept things from getting tracked in but I’m sure I will use in some point of time. It has a net bag to keep it all neatly in and you can see through it so you can see what it contains. I like that because at 65 you have a tendency to forget what is where! I’m thinking of buying a set of stakes as I seen just a set of 10 stakes here on colemandiscount.com and you can never have too many tent stakes! I would recommend this to all my camping buddies!

So glad we made this purchase! We used every item in this kit! Would not have been a successful camp out without the mallet! Or the stakes! The stakes were much better than the ones that came with our tent and were essential to the stability!

No imaginaba lo útil que me sería ya estando en el campamento. Las estacas son resistentes y en general todo se ve de buena calidad. Y honestamente agradecí mucho tener el kit de limpieza, pues en otras ocasiones al acampar no sabía cómo sacar la tierra o hierba que uno mete sin querer, pero ahora ya no tendremos problema por eso.

I bought the kit mainly for the tent stake puller. The sale price for the kit was only a few dollars more than a solo puller. I was surprised at the quality of the whole kit. Nice heavy hammer, great stakes, fantastic puller and a dustpan and broom that are a perfect size for my tent. The carry bag compacts everything neatly. I’ve found the more compact I can pack all my gear the more I can bring. This kit fits the bill. To quote the great author and outdoorsman Colin Fletcher, “take care of the ounces and the pounds will take care of themselves”.
