This is my favorite version of Oil of Lemon. Fine mist and sprays at any angle. Have reordered several times, fast shipper. I learned at a medical conference O of L is the only alternate similar in effectiveness to DEET (each prevents about 60% of bites). I use the other, manual spray versions only if I need to take as a carry on.

I decided to give this product a go because I wanted to find something that works without having to use the 40% DEET. I have put this Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus through its paces out at the lake fishing where the flies, mosquitos, gnats, and ticks are terrible. This stuff works great and smells good too. I have been able to sit out at the lake for hours with no issues of any flying insects bothering me or dealing with ticks.
I still have the Coleman’s 40% DEET that I will continue to use when I am waiting on more of the Coleman’s Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus. The girlfriend who doesn’t like eucalyptus even uses this product because of it being lemon eucalyptus which has a nice lemon smell.
Pros: works great and as well as 40% DEET products, smells good, not overly pricey, natural repellant
Cons: only 4 oz

Must have to use on Florida Beach trips.

I spray it on the shoulders of my T-shirt and bottom edge of my pants. Spray button is sometimes hard to push, so gives a sudden short burst of spray. But it does keep the bug bites down! Odor is also acceptable — not unpleasant, anyway.

This stuff is awesome, but the bottle is small. I live in Florida and could go through a few bottles of this stuff in a week. Come on…. Give me a bigger bottle. Otherwise the stuff really helps and is long lasting. the only reason why I go through so much: it’s so hot and humid here in the summer that I have to shower each time after I come back inside. So, when I go out the next time again later in the day, I have to spray myself again. Since we have animals, I’m outside / inside / outside a lot.

So, this stuff works ok, but just ok. I had to spray a healthy amount to actually feel like it did anything… But the real issue with this stuff is that it stinks so bad. I mean SO BAD. When I got back in the car the smell of it was overpowering and it stuck around for a while, even driving with the windows open. The other undesirable thing is that it does what you don’t want bug spray to do. IT’S STICKY!!! Sorry I can’t give a better review but it’s hard to recommend this stuff based on the nasty smell and stickiness.

Have been using this for a year now and it is reliable, especially in deeper woods and boggy areas.
Managed to walk through horde of mosquitoes wearing this and only ended up with one bite on the hand I used to spray the rest of myself with.
