We got this to carry specially designed diet foo while on our trip. On our trip to our destination we put one bag of ice (left in the bag) along with all of our food. The bag of ice lasted for three days before it all melted. On our trip home we got another three days out of a new bag of ice. On our trip, we spent only $7 on ice. I call that a win.

These are “old” new coolers. I bought one from Coleman direct on sale. Got it, tested it, ice lasted 2 days but temperature inside got over 40 before then so food would have spoiled. Then I noticed it was leaking. Talking with Coleman for warranty replacement they asked me to turn the cooler over for manufacture date code. The cooler was over three years old and made in China, no more US made. I tried to update my review on Coleman and they blocked it. So heads up, these are old coolers that have sat in warehouses for years. You know what plastic doesn’t like? Sitting in hot warehouses for years.
