This is a straightforward day cooler. It is not something you take for a week of camping in 80 degree weather. It keeps ice for about 3 days in 75 degree weather as long as you place it in the shade. This is lightweight and works exactly as I expected it would for single day parties. I just wanted something to keep drinks cold for the day. I have a Rotomolded cooler for those week long trips where keeping things cold with minimal ice is important. The only issue I had with this is that there is no drain plug on it so you have to tip it in order to drain the water from it. Set your expectations at the right level and this will be a great cooler, just understand it is not going to compete with a $250 cooler.

I actually use this to this day! I can pack a lot in there, and it keeps everything really fresh. I don’t find it hard to clean and after I clean it out I leave the lid open for it to air dry. Its very good fore camping, picnics or even going to the beach!

I would have returned it, but I needed it the next day. Something punchard a small dent in the side. There is no drain, hinges make it difficult to keep the lid open and are cheaply made. I see the hinge braking soon. No lid support strap to help support the lid when open. Ice melts quickly.
