   kiddo wanted to go on a camping trip so i rented a spot for 2 days on the weekend and then out of nowhere a storm hit us at like 1 am and we stayed dry nothing got wet. set up was easy and strait forward and 1 person can do it. teardown and pack away was super easy as well, sat tent in sun for about 10 min each side to dry got everything back into the bag without extending it. ( tent bag has a extension option if you cut the stitch the bag gets a little bigger) defiantly a dependable tent.

   Went camping. Bought this “new” tent. Drove 4 hours, tried to set up tent, it was FILTHY!!! Muddy inside and out. Extremely used, missing the entire rain fly cover, missing poles and has a rip. I was furious and had to drive 15 miles into a random town, with no signal, hoping to return before the camp gates locked, to a target to get another tent. There was only ONE tent left on the shelf. I can’t tell you how much stress this put us through! Had we relied on this we would’ve frozen in the night because there entire rain cover wasn’t there!

   I purchased this tent last year and have used it 3 times. I do like the dark room technology and so far the tent itself has been waterproof in even fairly heavy rain for several hours. When I purchased I though the screen was a nice featured for additional space to put my cooler, tote with camp supplies etc. in however the rain fly does not cover the screen room and the sides are even just sceen so when it rains it all comes right into the screen room, gets items out there wet and the floor wet and then hence muddy etc.
   Would highly recommend Coleman update this design and update the rain fly to cover the entire thing and an option to have zip closed windows in the screen room as well to keep water out. Other than that appears to be a great tent for the $$$ , easy and fast setup etc.

   BUYER BEWARE!! MONEY TAKEN ON A DEFECTIVE ITEM! I purchased this item for a family trip. Before we left I set it up to test and make sure everything was good. After setting it up I realized there was no rain cover that also covered the big window area in the back. So I sent this item back with the explanation. Well the seller who’s a third party seller refunded me $1.07 I kid you not and has refused to refund me my money telling me buyers have taken advantage of him as well as colemandiscount.com taking his money. I believe he refunded me $5 more dollars and has refused to help me on this item I paid over $100 for. I’m really upset over this incident and the way he responded with a literal “WHOOPS.”

   This is the second one we’ve purchased, these tents are great! The light blocking works for about 2 years before light starts to get through, and you really do stay dry in the heavy rain.
