I wish the battery life was better, but this is a great camera for the price.

I purchased this as a starter camera for my young son so we can record his skateboarding skills. He loved it. Haven’t tried the water proof yet so i cant judge. BUt overall all price was great and quality was as well.

the camera is almost too small, the features are too cumbersome to get to the feature you want with only two buttons to select them. have not used it much. Can not get pictures that I took off of it!!

Camera arrived with a completely dead battery – it’s probably been sitting on a shelf for a long time. Ordered a new battery (which almost doubled the cost) and the camera works fine. For $12, it’s a bargain. Even at $20 still very cheap for an action cam, although the picture quality is not nearly what I would expect for 1080, more like 720 and the color rendering is pretty bad. Might be possible to color correct in post-processing/editing, so that’s a not a huge deal.
What is a huge deal is that it uses what look like non-standard (e.g. not Go Pro compatible) mounts, which makes it hard to uses a variety of other mounts. In my case, I will likely 3d print an adapter, but most people will not have that capability.
Overall, at $12, a bargain. At $20 (if you have the buy a new battery), there may be other cheap options, but it’s still pretty good value.
