   This makes a huge difference. Above 80 degrees my ducted AC couldn’t keep up. Mostly because the ducts are in the hot ceiling. But also they don’t flow enough air to take all the fan puts out. With this there is more airflow when the outlets on the grille are open. I got it today and went out to install it. It was 99 degrees in the trailer and a little over 100 degrees outside. I put it on and within an hour it was in the low 80s inside. Some air still goes through the ducts and helps cool the bedroom a little. As a bonus it makes the unit quieter. The air ducted through the cover takes a little of the fan noise away. It’s definitely an improvement.

   This device is for RV center line mounted Air Conditioning systems made by Coleman(Air Excell) This is the Coleman Chill Grill. There is a different one for their AC systems. So ask Air Excell if you can’t figure out which one to use.
   It allows a ducted air system to be dumped into the space by bypassing the duct system for the most part, which allows the room to cool down rapidly opening the ends vents on the ceiling cover.

   Works great have two Mach 8’s with chill grills.
