   It’s a great and spacious tent. I would not call it truly dark inside, but it’s dark enough that when you close your eyes, you couldn’t tell the difference. It effectively blocks out piercing sunlight and gives you a chance to sleep off that epic camping hangover from too many beers around the fire the night before. I’ve used it 3 times so far and setup is very easy. Putting it away is a bit more difficult. I don’t really like the way the poles are attached to one side of the fabric, as it limits the ways you can roll it up to put away. It’s doable though with some careful folding. Overall I love it and hope it holds up over time.

   I love this tent! Received it in July and waited until I had camped a few times to write a review. It’s just me (F 5’9″) and my 100# dog so I can’t speak to having multiple people share this tent.

   Pros:
   *Super easy to assemble solo
   *Extra head room
   *Waterproof – it poured for an entire day in August and everything in the tent stayed completely dry
   *It truly is very dark. A little disorienting waking up unsure what time it is at first and I needed a flashlight during the day to find things in the tent
   *Storage mesh on the ceiling to easily find items
   *Queen mattress plus room for my bag fit with a little extra room to spare

   Cons:
   *It already has one tear. No idea what snagged it but it was an easy repair. I had my last Colman tent for years without any tears
   *I wish the rainfly came out a little further from the door to protect from rain when entering/exiting

   Quality tent, easy to setup solo, ultra dark inside with the rain fly on. Nice and ventilated as well. Perfect for music festival camping

   Took it camping this weekend. Easy set up! No joke about the dark room technology, woke up near 11am. Only thing I was a tad disappointed in was the size. It said it can hold 2 queen-size air mattresses but realistically I would say only 1 if you want to have any sort of room for anything else.

   I purchased this tent based on the claim that it keeps more light out and for the long rainfly. It does both of these things. It is pictured (right) next to my Coleman Sundome (left) tent purchased two years prior. Both are about the same size, but the skydome does have the superior darkness and a larger rainfly. Size and setup time are about the same.
