Used it to cook food for about 10 people this past weekend..Worked perfectly. I purchased the Aluminum skillet with it and it was the perfect size for cooking and taking advantage of it’s even temp surface. Highly recommend getting the skillet with it. I coleman propane tank can last up to an hour or more. One of the burners was lose and was possibly leaking propane so they might last a bit longer. Other than that great grill, plan on having many more bbq’s with this bad boy.
The only minor cons I can think of is that it’s slightly bigger than most coleman grills and doesn’t have a carrying bag (but it has a handle so not a big con). The knobs are very sensitive, it’s hard to put them on low without turning them off a few times. But if you got a steady hand and a bit of patience you can get it right in a few tries.
Note: make sure your burners are screwed on tight before using, mine were lose and one came off while cleaning. Just a heads up.

Seems somewhat digital. Either on or off. No small adjustment. I tried to remove the valves and wipe off the excessive lubricant that could be the problem but was stumped how to get the valves out..it regularly burns food. I had “upgraded” from a 30 year old 2 burner Colman that worked well but did not work with griddle. Is crap. Look elsewhere

these camp stoves are great! I use them in my chili cook offs and one bottle lasts well over 5 hours am medium heat. I now own two and they are perfect. they hold two 12 inch skillets or two 8 quart pots. the temp is easy to control and with the sides up they become wind resistant. really enjoy these stoves

The flame/gas control valve goes from 0-100% in less than 1 degree of rotation. It is too touchy-fiddly to control, almost impossible to run at low flames. Okay, having a battery to run the sparking mechanism is nice, a single AA cell, and it’s far too heavy to take packing so maybe that’s okay. I have enough AA flashlights and so on so a spare is probably at hand. I have another propane stove with oven, through 45 degrees I have complete flame control. At low the flame it does not turn off. So it can be done. Oh, and did I mention, the closing mechanism, latches, sometimes hold it shut–don’t try shaking it too, or it pops open.

The reviews are correct, touchy controls but that is true of most stoves. Large cooking surface and the 3rd burner does keep things warm and will cook a simmering stew well.
It does require you add the plastic feet and the little door for the electric start battery is tight but workable. I can see how this might go through 1 lb bottles faster because it does put out the heat.
The even temp case is made for this, it is not cordura but rather vinyl, and a super tight fit when new, we’ll see how it does after stretching it a few times. Only could get a single 1 lb bottle in the side pockets, again, maybe better after stretching, I am worried it will split before it gets broken in.
