   I have Coleman lantern from the 60s and the globe shattered during transport. Seeing how Coleman still makes a similar model, I ordered this globe as a replacement. This glass on this replacement globe is much thinner than my original glass. I think the original was Pyrex? The replacement globe is also a slightly smaller diameter which is not that big a deal, but it does rattle slightly when the lantern is moved. Other than that, the glass works fine. It blocks wind, light shines through it…etc. I’m sure it will last a while as long as I treat it right. It was inexpensive and has my heirloom camping lantern working again.

   Contrary to some of the older reviews, this item arrived in authentic Coleman packaging. It had the Coleman logo and part number etched into the glass and fit my dual fuel model 295A perfectly. Quality appears the same as the globe it replaced.
