This is the perfect addition to cold weather camping. Super comfortable. Absolute warmth on those 5 degrees morning.

I haven’t used it camping yet, but I tried it at home and it seemed to add a good amount of added heat retention to my sleeping bag, and it was comfortable. I’ll try it out next month when it’s supposed to be mid 40s ish.

I purchased this bag for a July trip to BWCA. We did a test run over the past weekend and low temps were right around 50. I wore wool socks under armor cold gear, a north face quarter zip fleece and a wool beanie… and I was still cold. The bag is fairly light weight fleece. It would make a better bag liner for extra warmth on cold nights vs stand alone use. It might be good down to 60 F, but I’ll likely find another option for my adventure. The zipper is also difficult to use, it seems to stick and doesn’t operate smoothly. Maybe it will loosen up with additional use?

I am 5’10” and this fits perfectly. It is so soft, and packs small into the included stuff sack. It has a zipper at the bottom if you want to be able to stick your feet out. The zipper and fabric are well made and seem durable. This is perfect for hostels/hotels with uncomfortable sheets. I personally use it as a sleeping bag on its own, but it could also be used as a sleeping bag liner.

I bought this in addition to a 0° rated sleeping bag. I tend to run cold so I knew I’d need an extra layer for colder weather. During my most recent trip it dropped to the high 20s at night, and while we were inside a cabin with a wood stove, this helped keep me extra warm when the fire went out, to the point of sweating at times. It is super soft and is actually quite warm on its own! I think this will be perfect to use in place of the heavy sleeping bag during the spring and summer when nights are much warmer. It is very light and the zipper is smooth, no snagging or sticking!

Super cosy and soft. Taken this thing out multiple times on work trips and it’s been amazing. Pro time get a normal Coleman sleeping back and open then both up and zip them together. You get a massive sleeping system with either a light blanket or heavy depending on which way you flip it

1. Theres a small gap between bottom-end of the zipper and the fleece, through which you lose some heat. The zipper loses some heat probably because it’s metal, and the material is thin enough that you lose a good amount of heat through it (not always a bad thing, 1 bag is perfect in 50°F).
2. I think if you get multiple of these bags and layer them, that might be a decent cold-weather sleep system. Need to test it. Don’t overlap the zippers if you do.
3. You lose alot of heat at the shoulders, and big guys, it’ll never cover you head, but whatever, wear a beanie. I think you could run paracord through the mouth of the bag, theres a hollow lip. Put a cincher on the cord and you can tighten to your neck (a cincher wouldn’t be tight enough to choke you out, or use bungee cord).
4. Fleece has great warmth-to-weight ratio and is hydrophobic (polyester) so it should do well in condensation (like a bivy sack).
5. Four of these bags would cost $60 – a steal if thats enough for cold weather.
6. So the concept sleep system is: any number of these bags (maybe up to 4), a bivy sack, and a foam mat (don’t ever get inflatable). Again, need to test.

Exactly what I was looking for. It’s a full sized liner and that wasn’t clear because it didn’t give dimensions when I ordered it but I took a chance and it was just what I wanted for use during the summer for a mountian camping trip. It could be used as a lightweight sleeping bag in hot regions. It has a zipper which I like. It’s lightweight and feels good against my skin. Highly recommend if you want a zippered liner.

what was received was not as advertized.. two blankets are not a sleeping bag, though they will do for the intended purpose. misleading, to say the least. would NOT purchase again.

Was looking for a bag liner for colder weather to add some extra warmth / degrees, this worked, but this also had the added benefit of being a great little “ultra light” sleeping bag for warm summer months. Bought 2, for my son and I for Scout trips, seem to be holding up well.

Very good blanket/bag. Soft and comfortable.
