This thing is brilliant for taking fresh eggs with you when you go camping. I accidentally dropped the cooler this happened to be packed in, and only one egg suffered the trauma of getting broken – the other 11 were safe and sound! It’s a little tricky to open (or I was being extra careful as I imagined accidentally flipping eggs onto the ground if I opened it too quickly), but for the most part it did exactly as intended and kept almost my dozen eggs safe from my klutzy ways. Since my kitchen accents are red, I’ve incorporated that same color into my camping kitchen gear – so I was thrilled when I saw this red one. I had picked up a yellow one (seems to be the ‘normal’ color version) from a chain store, but the red one is my favorite. Red or yellow, you definitely can’t go wrong with this if you want to transport and store your eggs safely while camping!

Easy to open. Keeps my Eggs secure when traveling well worth the money.

Should work bought for camping obviously. The eggs seem a bit loose as a goose so don’t go smacking it around while eggs are in. I’ll be putting a layer or 2 of paper towel to make sure they sit. I’d be a bit sffrsid of my eggs being broke when I’m set out for a weeks trip.

Very handy. Except for thr rather flimsy handle, which broke after the first use, I like it and still able to use it.

Handle broke on day one of use, the rest of the holder was fine

Just got this and am happy with the quality. Great size for those wishing to bringore than 6 eggs.
Will make updates if there are issues. If you are transporting eggs it seems logical to keep them safe with this.

Both handles broke on both containers on the first use. The part for the eggs is solid. The handles are pretty much paper. Cheap flimsy plastic

Great just what we wanted to keep our eggs whole. Purchased a cheaper one to take on our first camping trip in the trailer. I wasn’t happy with it the container itself smashed the tops of two eggs! Thank goodness I had put four hard boiled egg on that side. The prongs to hold the eggs in place were to sharp. Again colemandiscount.com to the rescue, I made sure this container did what we needed it to do,keep our eggs safe and whole. In my first deal, I got what I paid for a cheap product, but I paid for it in eggs. With the price I’m paying for eggs now, this in the long run saves me a lot of eggs.

I’m not sure where the less positive reviews come from… I have 3 of these, used them for many camping trips and I’ve never had a broken egg! I fill this carrier with extra large eggs, which still isn’t totally snug (I had a couple of jumbo eggs and they were definitely snug!). Most of our camping trips involve driving 33 miles down active dirt logging roads where our camping bounces a lot — we joke that it’s off the ground more than it’s on! Yet, we’ve never had a broken egg. These carriers are great – much better than keeping them in an egg carton where we HAVE broken an entire dozen during traveling.
