   My Dad had one of the old green Coleman stoves that lasted forever so I am glad to now have one of my own. The Coleman PEAK1 2-Burner Camping Stove is an upgraded version of the old stove. It’s actually a very nice looking stove. I was surprised by how much heavier it was though it has a nice slim design. It has a built in carry handle but also comes with a hard foam carry case. It has removable cast iron pan supports which also provide protection from the wind. It has a rotary ignition so you don’t need to use a match. The push button ones always fail on my barbecues so I was surprised that this actually worked. The two large adjustable burners can fit large pots/frying pans. It gets quite hot so it takes some trial and error to get the right cooking temperature. You will need to keep an eye on it while cooking so you don’t burn things. It’s still early in the season so it hasn’t had much use but I am looking forward to using it more. Time will only tell if it lasts as long as my Dad’s Coleman Stove did.

   I am a big fan of this stove, especially since it is very useful for camping trips, beach trips, tailgating etc. This is the more sophisticated and durable line of Coleman camping products. I have a few from the peak line and it is very comparable to some other specialty brands, especially compared to other Coleman products. One thing I love is the custom carrying case that is durable, soft and easy to carry with a slim profile, allowing this to be stowed away with ease. For such a fitting case, it offers significant protection. The stove itself works just as one would expect from such a nice camping stove, so I have no complaints. Highly recommend it if you are looking for something that will last longer than many other options.

   This Coleman PEAK1 2-Burner Camping Stove is made of durable, very high quality materials. It features slim profile design, moulded foam carry case, rotary ignition, cast iron hob pan support rings, wind blocking rings, and an attachable gas regulator.

   Coleman has a long history as a quality Brand for camping, hiking and backpacking gear. This Coleman PEAK1 2-Burner Camping Stove is no exception. It is made to the high standards that one expects of a Coleman product.

   This camp stove is the one we have been waiting years to see. We have many Coleman products and this one is great! The cast iron, although heavier, is the robust material that really puts this stove over the top!

   This stove easily attaches to camping gas canisters with the attachable gas regulator included. It even has its own integrated mesh storage pocket in the carry case.

   I love the dual rings, they have 10K BTU per burner and each has a dedicated rotary knob to control it. The rotary ignition makes this stove a breeze to light, especially in wind, no matches necessary!

   This stove is so powerful. It took only three minutes to boil water (@ 98Meter elevation) 2.54 cm / 1 inch deep in a 4.7 L / 5 QT stock pot. You have all the heat you need to boil, fry or sauté on your camp stove. It is like having an outdoor kitchen at your campsite or BBQ spot.

   The cast iron pot support rings are perfect for cooking with cast iron pots and pans. They handle the weight and also provide extra wind protection. They are easy to remove for cleaning too. Warning they will get very hot during use, so allow the stove to fully cool before attempting to clean it.

   I absolutely love the carrying case. It is made from moulded foam and is custom built for this camp stove. It has a sewn in, green mesh sleeve to keep your gas regulator in, when not in use. It provides a safe secure way to store and transport your stove, so it is ready to go when you are. The carry handle is very comfortable.

   This stove is a little heavier than cheaper, thin, metal models. It may be too heavy for someone who is backpacking to the campsite. That said, it is well worth tracking it in with you.

   This Coleman dual burner gas stove is a must have piece of camping gear! You won’t want to leave home without it.

   It is so durable, it will last you for many years to come. It is a little higher price point, but given the quality I would say it is worth it.

   I highly recommend this product.

   The description is misleading. The only cast iron is the black part of the burners grates. The stove is covered in a heavy duty coating that looks like cast iron, but it is sprayed on and it chips to reveal the metal underneath. This stove is one week old and already the lettering is coming of with only being wiped with a damp towel.
   The BTU is not that high. However the flame can be adjusted very low for simmering. The consyruction is rock solid… and the stove has a veryow profile. Knobs don’t feel cheap or flimsy. Eye grates snap on and off. Outside of lettering coming off the stove is extremely east to clean. The case is cool form fitting. Will ot stand has to be laid flat or leaned against something. Teal accents on case look weird but O.K.
   Best features; low profile… very adjustable flame… solid build not flimsy (but kinda heavy). I would recommend but it is not cast iron as it appears to be. Description is misleading

   This stove has served us really well when we take it camping. It gets hot and we were able to cook out food pretty quickly with no problem. The two burner is nice, while I’m very used to getting by with one, the option for two is definitely handy. It’s fairly compact considering it is a two burner stove, but it’s definitely got some weight to it. Definitely looking forward to using this on trips to come as it seems to be pretty good quality and I haven’t had any issues with it yet.

   Overall I really like this stove. It’s powerful and easy to set up but if you’re cooking in any wind conditions over 10mph-ish you’ll have to mind the wind direction so you don’t melt the buttons or anything around the stove. The burners sunt allow for slow/simmering cooking, even on the lowest setting they’ll burn anything that doesn’t need searing or boiling. They’re also prone to being blown off by slight wind at low speed. If this stove had wind deflectors and a burner capable of slow cooking it would be perfect. The graphics on it tent too wash out if you’re using Clorox wipes to clean it.

   I have an decades old Coleman Peak camping stove. You probably are familiar with this stove. It is a relatively portable, green enameled, covered stove with two small burners, piezo ignition, and a durable carry bag that can hold the stove and two 1-lb cylinders of gas and the attachment. Over the past 20 years, this has been my go-to camping stove. The piezo electric element does not work consistently anymore, but the stove has held up to abuse. I did not hesitate to order this Coleman PEAK 1 stove. First for the comparative advantages. The burners are larger, have more heat output, are more durable, and easier to clean. They also have far more adjustability than my old stove, allowing very low output, even with a nearly empty cylinder. The piezo element works! This stove looks modern and attractive. It comes with a hard-shell case that fits the stove and gas line attachment. I have not used the stove out in the wind yet, but an obvious advantage of my prior stove was the cover that was also a wind block. I am uncertain how well this new design will work in windy conditions. The other disadvantage is that the hard case does not have any place to put a gas cylinder. A cylinder would almost fit between the burners if the case was just a bit thicker, and the burners had a touch more space between them. Maybe Coleman designed it this way, forcing you to store cylinders separate from the stove, but I never had any issues with the double pocketed soft case for my old stove. 4/5 for storage options. Despite this comparison, this new PEAK1 is a nice looking, good performing stove based on output control. Perfect for car camping, picnics, and outdoor gatherings where a portable stove is needed. (Note my picture shows the stove operating on a counter top. This was only for a quick photo. Portable gas stoves should only be operated outside in open air due to the potential of carbon monoxide production).

   This new Coleman stove is amazing. It works great. It’s pretty compact and comes with a form-fitted case. It’s a very stylish-looking stove. It’s easy to use and works great. My only complaint is how heavy this stove is. It weighs a couple of pounds more than my Triton. I kind of get why it’s heavier, it’s built to be extremely robust. All-in-all, Coleman has really stepped up their game with this one.

    This is awesome! We usually do some tailgating with a grill but adding this camping stove to the mix definitely took us to the next level. It’s easy to set up, use and clean. It lights nice and easy and we love the cast iron even if it does add some weight

    This is an impressive camping stove, especially compared to other models, even those by the Coleman brand. The materials and construction are solid. It’s easy to light and the control knobs allow me to dial in a much finer degree of flame than other camp stoves I’ve used, from boil-height to a simmer. Fully open, the burners do get quite hot, but the flames are still well-controlled and blue. The neoprene case that comes with the stove is streamlined but does a great job protecting the stove and even has a pocket for the propane arm, which keeps it from floating. My only complaint with it is that it does not stand up on its own, but that’s a minor gripe. Cleaning this stove is made simple by pop-off grates, though the rest of the unit can’t be taken apart in the woods. This means that if a pot boils over the stove’s shallow lip, there’s no way to clean up the mess. It’s possible I’ll be able to get it apart at home with the proper tools, but I don’t want to test that until I have a need. Overall, this is the best camping stove I’ve ever owned. I can’t wait to plan my next camping feast.

    Purchased this stove to replace a single burner one we had. There is plenty of room now to cook our meal (or warm cereal and make coffee) at once instead of in portions. Easy to use, the case provides good protection (bouncing around on dirt roads and poorly maintained highway during our one week BC to Yukon trip). Good heat distribution and control.
