Great for stargazing since most of the upper part is mesh except for the door side; also lots of ventilation. I can put it up in about 15 minutes by myself. I also like I can almost stand up straight. It did not come with a ground cloth so I bought one from REI. The carrying bag can be expanded by ripping off a cloth panel on the bottom; I can fit everything including the ground cloth back in the carrying bag but I have to pack everything well. Recommend getting velcro straps to keep the rolled up tent compact to stuff it back in the carrying bag. The only thing I don’t like is the poles stay attached to the tent; makes it harder to fold up the tent.

This is worth the money and then some. I own 2 Big Agnes tents -one backpacking and the other family sized, so I’m a bit of a tent snob. I was in a pinch and needed something in between the two sizes for a last minute trip for just me and my husband and dogs. Since we were taking our new fur baby for the first time, I didn’t want to risk my expensive tents not knowing how she would do. We used it last weekend and was pleasantly surprised on the quality and how easy it was to set up and take down. Don’t hesitate. Btw- I seldom take the time to write reviews but I felt the product was worthy of the time.

Super easy set up, lots of mesh for airflow. Almost tall enough for me to stand in (I’m 5’6)… or at least stand enough that I can change,
Make the bed, etc. Lots of storage pockets. Carrying bag is set up beautifully- instructions sewn into it, expandable if needed. Poles are attached so there is no guesswork, just start clipping the tent to them. Highly recommend!

I’m an avid camper using the Coleman tents because I love the floor and continuous pole sleeves. This new external pole design is easy to set up, but horrible to store tent as single unit between sites or after use. Two stars due to POOR zipper sewing. Zipper gets stuck every time I opened/closed. Zipper will eventually rip.

Amazing! Easy set up of my life! Coleman makes solid quality products and tbh that’s why I ordered it. Beyond impressed its got great rain protection and you can take the rain cover off completely or partially to let the sunshine in and enjoy the view without being eaten alive by mosquitoes. I can’t believe I only paid a $100 for it. Also it easily fits a queen inflatable mattress with a good 12 inch perimeter so you don’t have to constantly step on the mattress. Also has built in nylon loops so you can hook your lantern or whatever you need easily. Also has storage pockets which help me from losing our stuff. Honestly life changing. It weighs 10lbs and breaks down into the tiniest package I could carry anywhere with ease. Just buy it. You won’t regret it.

Setups after the first time are very quick. Hard to fit all back in bag even with expansion but can be done. None of the tent seems are sealed, only the rain fly. They should have at least sealed the tub seam. Good for the price, I need it to last the summer, past that its a bonus, will see.

It’s good quality. Doesn’t get hotter than any other tent, I do enjoy the lower screen sides. It’s has been set up during two rainy days and not a drop has made it inside, of course if your stuff is pressed against the sides it will probably get wet though. This was super easy to set up with one or two people, I didn’t even look at the instructions. Take down is as easy as any other Coleman tent. My favorite is the preattached poles and the fact that there is no little sleeve to thread the poles through. Just put the poles together, attach them to the correct corners and hook the tent to the poles. The only downside is I had a hard time finding the front of the rain fly the first couple times. I would recommend getting at least one size bigger that what you need, just for some extra moving space. Overall it’s great tent for a new camper or a seasoned camping vet and I would definitely recommend it.
