   We set up tent brand new, right out of box it was delivered in, so didn’t perform any extra weather proofing or add any sealant. The first night it rained ALL night long and not just light rain, but a downpour. We stayed perfectly dry and didn’t notice any leaking or moisture for the most part. On one side where the rainfly doesn’t cover, there was slight moisture wicking on a small area of the tent but it was minor. The 2nd night we got about 2 hours of strong winds and really hard rain. Again, no leaks or moisture in the tent. I did think it odd that the rainfly doesn’t cover the 2 ends of the tent – they are completely exposed – but they held up well. I will add that the front rainfly covered area outside the door was not leak resistant AT ALL. The floor matt and all our shoes sitting out there got soaked. This tent was nice and roomy – fairly narrow, but really long. We slept 4 very comfortably with all our gear stored in there as well. We could have easily fit a 5th person but any more than 5 people would be a bit of a squeeze. The swinging door was a nice feature as well and zipped open and close pretty easily. The Velcro closing feature wasn’t great and it took more time to line up the Velcro squares than to just zip the door closed. The directions were horrible and it took me 2 hours to get the tent up (1 adult w/ help of 2 11 year old kids). I’ve camped my whole life and put up plenty of tents, so I’m not a novice. Now that I’ve put it up though, I think it will be easier the next time. The storage bag is nice and sturdy and big enough to store the tent back into. We got the version of this tent with the ceiling light which was really nice and pretty easy to set up. I actually gave the chore to my two 11 year old boys and they had it hooked up and working pretty quick. The tent stakes are HORRIBLE which was disappointing for a tent at this price. Thankfully I had picked up some extra stakes before we left so I interspersed those with the easily bending stakes that came w/ tent. Next time I will purchase a whole new set of stakes and throw the ones that came with tent away. Overall I am happy with the tent. The poor directions and flimsy stakes are outweighed by the awesome weather resistant performance.

   The tent is easy to to set up. I really only need another person for a couple of minutes to help put the poles in on the opposite side of me at the same time. Other than that, I could install myself in about 15 minutes. I love the light, doors, and retractable windows. However the best quality of this tent is that is indeed waterproof! We went camping and the forecast was possible light rain. It was a downpour with thunder. The campsite was completely drenched, however not a single rain drop got inside the tent. The bad thing is when I opened the door, we were basically in a lake! See picture. Everyone commented how amazed they were with my tent!

   Fácil armado para dos personas. Una sola es posible pero si es cansado. Buen tamaño, sumamente amplia, aunque me hubiese gustado que fuese un poco más grande de fondo. Caben sin problema dos colchones inflables Queen y aun queda espacio de entrada. Buen add el de enrollar las ventanas al abrir y super bien la luz.

   When this arrived, and we took it outside to set it up and check it out, all we could do was laugh. We never actually measured out the dimensions to see just how big it was, just went by how many people it was meant to hold. This is a big tent! We LOVE it! With three kids, a big dog and a husband over 6 ft tall, I knew we needed a lot of space to camp comfortably. This certainly fits our needs and gives us room to spread out a little and still have plenty of space for all of our stuff. No kids yelling “he’s touching me!” makes mama a happy camper. 😉 The light hanging from the ceiling is a huge bonus. That is so great! And we all love the roll up windows and the great door. I highly recommend this tent.

   Great big tent! Room for our family of 4, our medium-sized dog, all of our stuff, and room to walk through. Also the front eaves have enough space for a couple of camping chairs and to keep some firewood dry (!) It was a little drafty on cold nights (40s F). (Maybe we need better sleeping bags.) We waterproofed it with a silicone spray before camping. One night we got hit with a 3-hr hail storm and stayed pretty much dry, but the hail formed puddles on either side of the dome and we had to keep pushing up to drain those pools. Still it didn’t let water in EXCEPT the seam where the gray floor material meets the blue wall material, where it did let slow drips in. Nothing a quick wipe with a camping towel couldn’t take care of, but I was hoping the WeatherTec and silicone spray would keep us 100% dry. Oh well.

    We went on a camping trip for the first time in years, downsizing from a bigger trailer. The tent size is great, especially since we and all our belongings had to pile in to escape a hailstorm . The only negatives we have is that the light came apart after screwing it into the socket after one time use. I was able to tape it together and make it work for our trip. When we got back I called Coleman’s customer care, they told me the light was out of stock and they will replace the tent with a different one, which we didn’t like at all, or a different lighted system, which was not compatible. I thought that was ridiculous! Also the instep could maybe have been a little lower to the ground, especially for older folks. Ventilation is poor, since a lot of condensation built up on the inside .

    We got this tent in March of 2015 and we’ve used it multiple times. It’s very spacious and has some great novelty items. The light is really handy and the kids love it. The windows roll up and down when zipped and unzipped. The hinged door is nothing to brag about, conscientious that it opens and closes easily but has to be tied open and doesn’t line up with the door hole unless zipped. After a year and a half we have some holes where the poles have poked through the material. It has leaked water along the seams after a downpour in New Mexico. Not fun to be woken up by freezing drops falling on your face. We have put 2 queen mattresses in and a pack and play and still had a little room to stand and store our bags. It can be set up easily by one person, two people just make it set up quicker. It’s not a bad tent for the price.
