   This is basically a 1-meal lunch box.

   The walls are thickly insulated to keep what you put inside cool (or warm, I imagine).

   The zipper works great.

   The construction is good.

   It is pretty small, but big enough to hold a sandwich, snack, and a drink (like a can of soda).

   Overall: would recommend.

Coleman’s lunchbox soft cooler is a good-quality, no-frills lunchbox that works exactly as designed. It features one large compartment and a mesh pocket on the interior. The cooler has a moderate amount of insulation and keeps the contents at temperature for hours. On the exterior, you get a simple carry handle with no shoulder strap nor should strap mounting points. This lunchbox is a bit pricey, considering it lacks any noteworthy features or performance. But I like the simple design, and it works well. This lunchbox fits easily in a large backpack. Recommended.

   The exterior of this bag feels like a flannel material. It’s soft. Also different. But I fear that it will stain and not clean easily from spills, which makes it a poor choice for camping or picnics. The coloration on my lunch bag also looked uneven right out of the bag. Inside, I found that the square design made the lunch bag a bit smaller than my kids’ typical insulated rectangular lunch bags, but it is deeper. So if your food containers tend to be more compact, but deep, this lunch bag actually works really well. And the zipper is incredibly high quality, barely visible seam when zipped shut—and leak proof as a result.

   PROS:
   – It is insulated and keeps my food cool.

   CONS:
   – The fabric is not visually appealing and it shows any and all scratches it’s ever experienced.
   – The inside is floppy, messy, and unstructured.
   – The square size will not hold my two rectangular containers. Most manufacturers make rectangular containers for lunch meals on the go.

   -The lunch bag I received has more of a distressed look. Not so sure about the appearance of this bag. But, it’s still functional and useful.

   This thing is pretty basic. Hard to give something so basic a 5 star reviews despite finding nothing wrong with it. It’s handy for what it is. It’s not going to hold a lunch for an adult man unfortunately so I won’t get much use out of it. You can see from the photo what it can carry – this is good for a breakfast – yogurt, water, fruit cup – where you don’t need a lot of insulating power. The pouch is there but is super basic.
