This is a great lantern, as others have said. I would be using it as a hurricane light, or that said, at a time when the electricity went out in my home. Fabulous light, covers ground, much better than the small lanterns I ordered last year.

Love the detachable lights. We use this in our little 14x 30 cabin. We put one on each window ledge and hang the lantern. Lights it up pretty well. Great purchase!!

Can’t get the back to shut with batteries in it. Can’t get the pannels open to put AAA batteries in. This is unbelievable. I’ve put gas grills together with no problem but this Coleman light is unlike my others. I have a larger one and put it together with no problems. Can’t send it back now so I’m stuck. Don’t buy!

Although I am big fan of Coleman but this lantern still need to add belt-in lithium-ion battery or at least, make the adjustable panels chargeable by micro USB chargers (phone’s chargers).
In my opinion this is uncomplicated lantern because there is no way to chanrge it. you need separated D batteries charger.
