Why Verified Buyer –
I couldn’t get the cover back on after changing the batteries. It’s stuck about 3/8” open, also can’t get cover off to try again. Great light. Must consider it disposable after one set of batteries.

Once the batteries were inserted, the bottom cover could not be screwed on – or off (it spins like a roulette wheel). Multiple calls to Coleman were a joke; they did not understand the issue, put me on hold, never came back on the line, but prompted for a rating of their services / products and then disconnected.
Coleman used to be a reputable company that was the gold standard in camping gear. Through apparent mergers and acquisitions they’ve become a schlock company. I’ll never buy another Coleman product. BTW, I gave the product 1 star only because zero wasn’t available.

Lantern was lightweight and bright. However on/off dimmer switch broke on first use. Overall rating would have been a 1 because of this but Coleman was excellent with working with me and actually next day delivered me one. Very impressive!

This is a nice little handy item/lantern. It’s well made. Requires three D batteries, works very well. I use it for hurricane season for my dining room and it fights my kitchen and my living room besides the dining room. I definitely would recommend

Once batterie were put in you couldn’t removed the battery cover. Had to return lantern with my 4 batteries still inside! Waste of money.
