First of all it was advertised as a rechargeable lantern that was supposed to come with a charging cord. There was no charging cord. I installed the required “D” size batteries turned the lantern on and was greatly disappointed with the amount of light it actually put out (400 lumens my foot!). With a hurricane approaching, I needed a lantern that would emit a lot more light than this one did. It’s okay I guess if you keep it right next to you at all times but otherwise, it was totally useless for my needs.
