   These fire sticks are great!! Light up immediately and really get the fire going even in wind and rain. Tried DuraSticks fire starters by Duraflame that I got at Walmart. It took forever to ignite the stick and wouldn’t stay lit. Coleman fire sticks are the best!

   Don’t waste your money on any of these things… If you have a dryer, or you know someone with a dryer, just collect the lint from the lint catcher and add a small amount of hand sanitizer… One spark, and you’re in business…

   the sticks crumble and you need to use alot. once you get them to burn they aren’t bad. but i’ll never use them again!!

   The information on here states the size as 1 x 1 x 1. I verified the length and was told it was 5″. The thickness of this is only 1/2″. Too small and too skinny. It will probably take quite a few to start a fire. I’m not going to bother to return them. Not happy.

   These ‘fire-sticks’ don’t burn. They smolder at best. Coleman’s supplier is providing a very poor product. I could not get my charcoal to light in less than three attempts. Save your money.

   We use these all the time to start our family fire pit. I only have to use one and still work if damp. They are small and don’t take up much room if you take them camping. You can’t just light and pile up alot of wood or it will smother. You still have to place small kindling and build the fire up just like with any fire. If you want BIG fire immediately then don’t get these get those huge fire starter logs. I think these work just as well to get the job done and again are smaller and much much cheaper.

   I’ve used these fire starters at home and when I ran out I was happy to find them on colemandiscount.com. I usually break them into 2 or 3 pieces, and place them on various logs. There’s no need for any paper to help start a fire.

    Very good product. takes about 6-7 sec to light up and does its job beautifully. Flames stays lighted for about 10 min which is good enough for charcoal to start burning.
