Got this to go car camping. I detest hovering bugs with a passion, so this was a must.
It’s a massive candle in the robust tin can. I’ve used it twice so far, right before sunset so I can eat dinner in peace. The smell isn’t overpowering and after a bit, you can just ignore it. Probably 3 hrs x 2, but it still got lots of life left.
The lid is perfect for reusability, so you can use it for long time.
The price is reasonable.

I really hate mosquitoes. The feeling isn’t mutual, as they seem to love me. I can wear thick denim, long sleeve shirts, and they still tear me up. Every year I try different items to keep them at bay. I’ve tried candles, propane-fired things, plants, traps, UV lights, you name it. I’ve worn clip on fans, bands, stuff with bad chemicals, and the like and… Every year I buy more.
This candle was one such order this year. It’s a large candle that smells pretty good and inoffensive. Apparently this is another area where mosquitoes and I disagree as they (mostly) stayed away when this was lit. Based on the performance and overall low-impact method of use, I’d recommend this for other mosquito magnets like me. It’s reasonably cheap, should last multiple hours when burning, and seems to keep mosquitoes at bay. Recommended!
